Too many old-timers have been hit. I wonder if there's grounds for an age discrimination suit.

The job market is horrible
Otherwise, I wouldn’t be nearly as worried about my job here, or about any of us finding new ones soon. We’re so cornered, and it’s a terrible feeling. Good luck to us all.
There’s no grand strategy behind these layoffs
It’s just about money, and more money. Which, in reality, means we’ve been disproportionately shedding talent.
It's too much
I’ve had it with this place and I’m pushing hard to find something else. Even with a rough job market, I can’t stay here any longer. Constant layoffs are draining and I really need a job where I can focus on my work, even if it's for less pay. Thanks, Cisco, for bringing me to the point I never thought I'd be in.
Making billions, ruining lives.
Was at this org in the mid two thousands. Worst environment I've ever seen. When I left on my own after 8 months, I was the 9th person to leave.
Upper mgt here are sc-mbags.
Please share any info if you’re comfortable
Layoffs seem massive, and we’re all on edge.
Microsoft is not just causing layoffs at Microsoft
Microsoft's cancellation of Perfect Dark reportedly caused a ripple effect that left developers at Crystal Dynamics fighting for their livelihoods.

Anything so far today?
I know it's still early, but I'm taking the lack of chatter as a good thing.
Layoffs hitting
I was let go this morning after 11 years. From what I understand, they are looking at a major cuts across the board.
It's typically about time for layoffs for FY25
Many bloated positions in BD Parata RxAuto team so when is the RIF coming? VP and Director and Senior Director levels seem to still not understand the business. No strategy, no progress since Parata acquisition. Way to ruin what Parata had going.
Laid off after 11 years - and I feel relieved
The anxiety had been building to a peak by the time I got notified. And at that moment, I realized I didn’t actually want to work here anymore anyway. Not a coping mechanism, just a sudden, clear realization that not only had I stopped caring about my job here, but there’s really no meaningful future for most of us at Oracle. So, good riddance.
Anyone here work in ECMO?
That's where I worked before I left WF. Wondering if they are being affected by layoffs. I keep getting emails from temp agencies for what was essentially my same job, only for less money. Is that WF's strategy -- to get rid of permanent employees to replace them with temps? The emails for this position keep coming. I've received at least a dozen emails from five or six temp agencies, so they must be having a hard time getting people.
Niagara University faces layoffs
Niagara University confirms staffing cuts as part of a strategy to ensure 'long-term strength and stability'.

Ryan’s video
Everyone watched it yet? 20-25% through 2026.
At what time can you consider yourself safe?
Those I know who have been included in previous RIFs got their 1-1 invite first thing in the AM. However, with the large number taking place today, I’m wondering if making it through the morning is still too soon to breathe a sigh of relief?
layoffs su-k
largest layoff in FIS history. Directors, Senior directors, grunts like me, etc... maddening.
Are people who are laid off immediately escorted out?
Is there time to grab your personal items?
"Don't take it personally"
I heard one coworker tell that to another who'd just been laid off yesterday. He was actually trying to comfort him. The guy we lost has 12 years experience, the one who said not to take it personally has been here for a year and to say he still can barely do anything without somebody holding his hand would be an understatement. And now hearing this, I'm even more convinced he's nothing more than an id--t. And he's still here. Fu-k this place.
Another day
Going to try my best to work today. Made it to noon yesterday before the uncertainty took over smh! Just want this to be over.
Lumpsum only?
Does Dell do rolled over paychecks or only lumpsum?
I’m trying to know if I can extend my unemployment days for Visa reasons.
No one asked but I’m actually relieved from the WFR, I have been preparing for a few months and now I get to get the big fat Sev package so thats sweet
Anything in APAC /EMEA yet?
Were there any layoffs today in APAC/EMEA so far?
Layoffs at L3 Amityville release systems Q3
This one will be for the lower level managers with less than a certain amount of employees under them. This just came out from an upper MGMT meeting.
Are we at least done for the week?
I know layoffs are far from over, but what about this week?
Will this lead to layoffs?
Quipt Home Medical Corp. (“Quipt” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: QIPT; TSX: QIPT), a U.S. based home medical equipment provider, focused on end-to-end respiratory care, today announced the closing of its previously announced joint venture transaction with three major health systems and two hospitals to acquire Hart Medical Equipment (“Hart”). Quipt has acquired a 60% ownership interest in Hart, with the remaining 40% interest collectively held by Henry Ford Health, McLaren Health Care, Blanchard Valley Health System, Wood County Hospital, and The Bellevue Hospital.

Do stores know already?
My mom works at Claire's and she's been really worried and stressed out for weeks. I think she's still worried her store will close. I'm wondering if the closing stores have been notified yet? Maybe if hers hasn't been told it's closing by now, it's among those that are staying? Can somebody please clear this up for me?
This isn't good for us
Any new CEO is going to try and impress everybody who matters (which is not employees, by the way) by making immediate moves to improve results. In this case, that will most likely mean layoffs. The chances are higher that a major round will happen as a result hen not.
Promises broken
When Oracle bought Cerner, they tried to convince us that there wouldn't be mass layoffs. That was enough to prevent a mass exodus. 3 years later and they've gutted the company. All of the buildings in KC are empty, even the campus they kept is a ghost town.
Layoffs
Can your team afford to lose any more people? I don't know who makes the layoff decisions, I assume it's somewhere near the top, but those people need to do our jobs for at least a week before the next one. They need to see how much we're struggling and what it would mean to remove more people. They make these decision way too easily.
Dang it!
I missed the layoff bus yesterday morning again! Didn't hear anything in COO Control. I thought they'd be targeting removal of all remote within Control by Q4 but there's still a lot left it appears. I've had four different bosses in the last 2 years after multiple reorgs. Did they forget about me? 😬 My new boss doesn't know much but speculates they might even keep me to Q1. 🤔 True or false?
More cuts today?
Is it happening?
why is it so quiet?
This company is constantly buying and cutting us labor how are there not more reports??
Over 50 …
If I make it past this round, I plan to “quiet quit” (do the minimum) next 3-4 years and collect the package next layoff round.
If this is how they treat us … this is what they will get. It’s a very rational decision on my part.
I refuse to believe this
This is going to continue through October. Buckle up!
This can't be true, right?
Layoffs India office
Dose anyone having any updates layoffs started India offices?
What's another restructuring?
In regards to layoffs or anything else that may or may not happen, nothing that CVS does at this point will surprise me. Sadly this is how CVS operates. Think of how many restructurings CVS has been through over the last several years. I'm guessing more than any other company in America. So hey, what's another restructuring? Or what's a few more layoffs? Frankly to the executives, these things are nothing, because they're not affected by them. So to everyone here, just remember this is CVS, so anything is possible. Because again this is exactly how they operate. Always looking for short-term savings, and never looking at long-term down the road.
Well said, @tn+1k35bcf17.
Email coming tomorrow
Big news coming tommow. Please watch your emails
Too old?
Got laid off Sept 2 in Fusion apps just days from my 25th anniversary.
EMEA Apps impacted
