Why is this not making the news ? Worst layoff possible. Got an email that role is impacted and to join a group meeting. Cam off, mic off, chat off, cant ask questions, no explanation of why and why you?? Cold and heartless.

Yah no bonuses, they will do the rest of the layoffs before Feb to save on the bonus payouts.
Another thing no one has mentioned is the payouts for bonus will not happen for last quarter for those who were laid off. The company will save money. You have to be here in order to get your bonus at the time payout.
@cy I doubt this, not that the company would get rid of more but that they would do it right now. They do everything at once. Makes no sense to do it little by little weeks apart.
The 9th and 23rd are the next round, I have heard that customer service, lpax and b2b will be impacted. L2s and L3s dont select the employees that will be let go, and they do not know much about it at all. Your metrics wont save you, nor will your work ethic. Corp just tells the budget stakeholder how many need to go and they pick a bunch of names. The end goal is to get rid of remote US workers.
I have heard that they are only 1/3 of the way through their list. They have offshore in training to take over. Dont get blindsighted, the way they handled Fridays layoffs was downright cruel.
Doesn’t make news until 30 day consultation period in UK and Ireland starts.
The rights in EU are superior to NA
I would say another wave next Friday or Friday after in EU.
This happened in 2023, safe then second hit few weeks later
Ah you must be in EU America didn’t get any details, also we get the boot the same day, like within 30 mins everything is shut off
@am people over 40 get a list of ages of people let go to prevent someone saying they let all the older people go.
I am so sorry to here you were also affected. Would you mind sharing some details for when our tickets get punched too? Who hosted the meeting? What happens in the meeting? Did they offer severance? Or contact info to ask questions?

@a4 there are 32 pages in the list of people that were terminated, and they aren't done yet.
Sorry that happened to you, it is sad what they are doing. The reason it isn’t hitting the news though is it wasn’t enough to be considered a “big” layoff, so it’s not being reported
