This is the moment to get resumes cleaned up and profiles refreshed. The job market is already crowded, and it is only going to get tougher once more cuts hit. I have started reaching out to old contacts because waiting is risky. It's much better to be prepared now than scramble later.

If I was desperate for a job I would be doing the same but I’m kinda looking forward to a break. Been grinding for more than a decade and financially a layoff would hurt but it wouldn’t be devastating
everybody suggests the same thing but I can’t seem to do anything until I know for sure
