Its been almost a year since Cargill displaced so many colleagues. I see all the linkedin posts of the highly political leaders taking credit for foundational efforts of others they dismissed without even a second thought. It is still sad and heartbreaking reminder of how cruel the culture was. Wonder if current employees even bother to check in on those that still do not have jobs or that left without any acknowledgment of their years of service to this cold company.

Nepotism at its finest. While we lay off experienced individuals.
The Director/Manager's daughter got hired on making 65K+ as a Business Analyst with a Bachelors Degree in Fashion and no prior health care experience. When normal people don't get looked at unless you have at least 1+ of health care experience. But if you have the right last name and NO experience you can just be handed a job. NO need to work for it.
I left this place 4.5 years ago….
And I come back in here to validate that I was right about everything …. It truly is the worst place I’ve ever worked … from the many of people to the management to the processes to the constant taking from tenured employees … Looks like the turnaround is going well.
Union
Why do we not have a IT Union? We really need one to fight our incompetent leadership!
I wonder if John knows
Just how many of his VP’s have said they don’t agree with his email….
Our VP made a point to say they didn’t agree with it on today’s Town Hall. Not the first time I’ve heard it from leadership either. In fact, I haven’t heard a single person support it.
They wanted to distance themselves from his opinion.
Anyone else?
How is this guy still CEO?
He’s lost the entire company from the top down.
He’s gotta go!
22 years at Exxon and now PIP
Found out my co worker is on the PIP. He has been with Exxon for 22 years and had cancer last year. He was working even during the treatment even days he had Radiotherapy. I work with him often and his performance did not change. Can't stand this place!!!!!!!!!
Who?
Who is a bigger P O S MW or MN? For the fellow Brits out there, who's the bigger bell end?
Norlin is going on his firing frenzy
Norlin is beginning his firing frenzy. He’s getting pressure from KKR and he refuses to take accountability that account alignment was mismanaged, and quotas were improperly set. Some reps need to grow territories 6o7 times previous years revenue, while some make their numbers from standard uplift from one renewal. He’s unquestionably the laziest and most worthless manager I’ve ever seen
John Stankaheeheee Let me help you!
John....let me help you demoralize the workforce even more. Do this John. Take away the
service anniversary awards. Please do it John. Then remove any and all employee discounts. Also good work on pension plan increases. They are virtually non existent.
Cobb count teacher pensions in the state of Georgia get 3% every year. You are a cheap worthless pathetic divider in chief. It is no longer a desirable place to work. You and your cronies have gutted every aspect of what it used to be. You have as--ulted the low hanging fruit ( 1st level managers ) to the max because they have no voice as the union members do. The company culture will never rebound until you and your henchmen go somewhere. Anywhere would be good. Just go.
Shared Energy Town Hall
Anyone going to actually listen to or go to MW's town hall? What will his messaging be? Will he address the terrible state the company is in? We he finally leave and hopefully finish the Chevron Dark Ages?
A FIS Haiku
Shrink, shrink goes the workforce.
The price of stock follows.
Down, down goes NPS.
Investor, customer and employee trust all lost
Ring ring goes the mckinsey cash register. The only thing that goes up
3 years. We’ve seen enough.
Time for the board to make a change
Jason Hand gone
So I had called it earlier in the year, first Junior was going to leave, then Hand, by the end of the year. I said it. The year hasnt ended yet, we shall see whos next, maybe Soler. If the company is in such great "comeback story" why are folks jumping ship? This inverted pyramid is baloney. Store teams are pi---d, running skeleton crews, and executives dont want to see the reality, or they see it, but dont care. Its a sinking ship.
Now that the dust has cleared…
Every move made by the former regime was designed to pump up the stock price so that the supreme leader could cash out. Work 9 hours a day? Stock price. Track your whereabouts? Stock price. Every. Single. Move. While this was going on the leader negotiated a government job - one that he didn’t want, was unqualified for, and won’t keep very long. The kicker: he did it to escape capital gains taxes on the stock sale. On your hard work. On your 9 hour days. The stock, by the way, is down over $100 per share since he cashed out. That’s not just down - that’s a crash. He’s laughing. His cronies are, too. Maybe now that the evil has left the building things might start becoming normal again. I hope so. Nothing wrong with a boring company.
DXC is Bernie in weekend at Bernie’s
In my opinion we are DOA…. Catastrophic results month after month… the new leaders took a company with a chance and a heartbeat only to ki-l it and pretend it’s alive and kicking. Anyone who was worth keeping have long since gone and more going. But hey… the ceo and his new team have found ways to pay themselves well so good for them.
Clown Show
Latest idea they had was to remove jira and confluence access to “low users” which obviously reported wrong on low users.
Let’s see what shambles of decisions is next
You know what they say…
…the fish rots from the head.
Speaking up openly on the Ford Viva Engage site
The Connected Vehicle all hands ended in the most disappointing way imaginable.
"No-one agrees with what has happened" - Really, now? Then why has it been mandated so sloppily, before anyone was ready for it, and completely ignoring the business needs of a multinational corporation when it comes to collaboration across timezones?
"We can't change it" - Perhaps that is a sign of bad leadership. Was there not an opportunity to challenge the RTO policy? Perhaps involving employees in a cross-company collaborative exercise to investigate ways office time could work.
"That's all the questions answered" - It wasn't. It was a flippant dismissal of employees' very real concerns around incorrect emails harassing employees, threatening termination, and the very real economic penalties this now applies to many people working for this company.
And sure, Ford Land are going to be inundated with complaints at the moment - justifiably - but it's not just their fault. The blame for this lies squarely at the feet of leadership and their reckless rush towards "Time in Office" as a measure of productivity.

How does this even happen?
We lost a great manager. They decided to nuke our department for no good reason and then handed the pieces to someone who loves micromanaging and playing politics. I went from enjoying my job to dreading it within a few weeks. Again, for no good reason! This place makes no sense to me.
visionary leadership at its finest.
ask hr chat bot, what a masterpiece. truly the pinnacle of modern hr. no phone number, no email, just a shiny little bot that loops canned answers like a broken record. wow, groundbreaking.
and the it department? absolute geniuses. no phone support anymore. perfect plan. something breaks? can’t log in? need tools? don’t worry, you can just… magically fix it yourself. thanks, team.
ibm really nailed it. employees aren’t people, they’re just a line item on a cost sheet. who needs assets when you can have a quarterly earnings slide, right? visionary leadership at its finest.
but hey, i’m sure this is exactly how you build a thriving company with a bright future. total masterclass.
Let’s keep pretending VOE means something!
love how this works.
my manager gets a terrible rating, keeps being the same awful person, and nothing happens.
zero consequences, zero change.
but sure, let’s keep pretending VOE means something.
how to fix a bad call?
let’s say a mgr suddenly realizes they tanked things with a briliant wrong decision...
now the real puzzle: How do they magically “own up” and fix it without ever admitting they actually sc--wed up.
because nothing screams leadership like cleaning up your own mess while pretending you never made it in the first place.
P-M
Sick of these sr leaders talking this sh-t up “just to increase stocks cause nobody else is doing it”. Bny is behind on everything including updated systems and this P-M is garbage, isnt functional and its filled with mo--ns who dont have anything to do with the processes they are sc--wing with. Great job d-mbasses
Early Adopter Call
So we jump on a call being handled by someone who clearly had no idea what she was talking about, only to find out she has a PHD in Psychology. Following along..PHD in psychology, leading a Google Enterprise discussion and labeling with her team of so-called change management experts.. Okay, I digress. The call was poorly conducted and alomost the 100 people on the call all had outstanding valid points why they could not convert and everytime a comment was made the so called experts leading the call would say well you may fall in the group that can't be transitioned lol - At this point, who's running this integration and second has anyone even provided Sammy the truth about the negative impact on this transition? For the next call, please do not add people who can't speak on Google; instead, bring people on the call who can! We don't need our behaviors on the call to be analyzed; we're not a school project!
Sysco South Florida is dying
Being an observer of Sysco South, Florida, the current management is driving this company into the ground.
They are destroying the very fabric which Sysco used to stand for as leader. Sysco South and Southeast covers Miami to vero and the keys. They are doing their best to run the company into the ground. For all of the sake of a balance sheet, which makes them look great, but does nothing in the long term, salesman who have been with the company for are up and leaving due to the autocracy its becoming You have a few VPs in Miami starting with sales upper management, etc. that are trying to take the dollars out of the representatives mouths for their hard work they get nothing but if you kiss the rear end management, you get everything this is not how a business should be run. Im asking Houston to get people in those positions that know what they’re doing, people that are customer oriented and not do as I say don’t do as I do management group. I’m ashamed to say a once great company. That was based on family, quality, professionalism, and customer service has become nothing but a dictatorship, run by a president in Miami who is a wimp and especially vice president such as sales who are a dominant cut throat whatever makes them look great egomaniacal person. It breaks my heart. For once great company to crumble at its foundation.
Answer this one for me
Is the us upstream, specifically production obviously, the only division where working hard and going above and beyond gets you nowhere and the worthless/lazy employees and contractors that do nothing get rewarded/promoted on whose b*lls they kiss? I wasn’t sure if this was a global plague or not.
When will the dark ages end?
When will we be rid of the worst leadership is company history? I know the board of directors have no brains at all for keeping this clown car of a ELT team we have. Whoever decided MW was the best choice for CEO should be absolutely embarrassed. He's absolutely the most hated CEO in Chevron history. Can't get worse than this. Fire Wirthless!
Don't trust your manager
If he/she says you're safe, it doesn't have to be true. They like to smile and say the things that'll keep you off their backs, but most of it is not true. Make sure to look out for yourself.
Watch! Do what USAA did.
UTSA, it's time for a shakeup. Eighmy take heed. Your top execs are fear based leaders who hire "their own" and their family. Start with your BA division. It's HORRIBLE!
Manager Layer fat prevails
Multitude of high performing ICs are gone while the 6/7 layers of management fat prevails, almost untouched. Hearing that “managers in the next round” for years and years but nothing changes. The spectacularly d*mb , incredibly political and waste-of-space low- and mid-level managers in technical sales are strutting around our U.K. like they are the cat’s a$$ and own the place. Nice selfies from parties at Vegas on social media too. Nothing will change because they have a Patel God. It’s disgusting how deliberately the U.K. org is being decimated for the last 5 years.
AT-T to acquire Quantum Fiber... It's going to get worse.
Quantum installer, today systems down, can't activate eq, can't configure WiFi, happens all the time, if you want to bi--h about something watch the $ at t is going to lose. Dang.
Why are there so many Managers here
They got me reporting to 2 managers, and fielding requests from the layer above them. Each of them wants to have a 1:1, each wants a status update, each is dead weight that gets in my way from being productive. They really need to do away with management and make those with the most knowledge just rise to the situation at hand. Such a waste of shareholder money. They also need to start firing these Indians who email 600 people for the smallest task they completed, only email people directly involved. The manager of these people should be fired.
Morris Plains
Morris Plains is bad. Horrible management employees are looking over their backs. It’s not a good environment. The future doesn’t look bright here
Well well well
Looks like those horrendous hires over proven leaders haven’t worked out as well. Who would have thought it??! Weak a-s recruiters and a-s AVPs. People quitting and more layoffs.
Intel as an Employer
You probably already know this, working there.
Since BK and ACT, Intel has been hyperfocused on getting more work for the same or less money. ACT, the layoff when no layoff was necessary was the give away, but there were other things, like the focus on H1B’s. I don’t need to tell you it’s destroying the company; first you focus on getting a labor force that can properly fulfill your task needs and then you work on containing costs, especially when your product is a fragile cash cow. But instead our leadership considers labor to be “the only cost we can cut”
LBT is 100% on this and I’m sure you figured out on your own it’s just going to get more and more miserable as time goes by. The only way you can resist is leaving (but they love attrition)
HR
I recently left from the HR team. While I was only there a brief time it was the most toxic environment I have ever worked within. Politics galore starting at the top!!! Major change is needed for HR leadership!!! Get out like I did!!!
Dell’s Betrayal: Selling Out Americans for Pennies
If you’re a tech support agent, stop fooling yourself , your job’s fu--ing dead. By the end of the year, Dell’s going to bury it. They don’t need you, they don’t need America, they don’t need jack sh-t beyond two godda-n continents, and they’re almost there. The whole “follow-the-sun” cr-p? That was a fu--ing lie from the start. A shiny little carrot they dangled while they gutted the teams behind closed doors. L2s and L3s, congratulations , you’re the ones they’ve decided to sla-ghter first.
And let’s talk timing. These clowns are pulling this sh-t right when the Trump administration is already sick to death of IT companies hoarding H1Bs and farming out jobs overseas. Dell’s dum--ss execs are literally juggling grenades with the pins half-pulled. I hope they get fu--ing shredded in the fallout. They deserve every ounce of backlash, every investigation, every godda-n lawsuit. They’ve bled Americans dry, pocketed billions, demanded loyalty and personal sacrifices — and in return? They sp-t in our faces.
And for the so-called “managers” and “directors” reading this : fu-k you. You don’t deserve your cushy titles or your bloated salaries. You’re lying parasites who fed your teams bullsh-t about “transparency” while sharpening the kn--e behind their backs. Your people gave everything, and you fed them straight into the grinder without a shred of guilt. You don’t fight for your employees, you don’t protect them, you just bend over and let the VPs use you like the pathetic little puppets you are. I hope when your team goes down, you get dragged down with them. Fired. Humiliated. Exposed as the gutless corporate wh--es you’ve always been.
The End! OR New Beginning!
Today is 29 Aug 2025 and it Just ended (like a lot of other US employees) my 4 year journey at bp.
At this time i would like to thank the CEO, board members, EVPs, SVPs, and other members of the executive team for destroying careers of a lot of hardworking and people smarter then them. Also, thanks to the executive team for running this company to the ground and failing to own upto their mistakes or having any accountability for their decisions that has got the company to its current state. Additional thank you for continuing to collect your bonuses without any meaningful sacrifices while laying off workers with fraction of your salaries. You all must be very of yourselves for doing a tremendous job destroying the company value while destroying people's livelihoods. You all deserve bonus Energize points. Kudos!
Management is clueless and horrible
New or old, I can't think of one good leader here.
