Don't waste time on this board

The management and executives here are untrustworthy. They've broken just about every rule and unwritten rule possible with directs. They're the type who give you prop's the entire year and then give you a bad year end review so they can cheat you on your bonus to make some budget number. As a shareholder i've super disappointed in the place and plan to sell my stock holding in this company, and its a sizeable figure.

Worrying

I’m curious if anyone else has thoughts or concerns about the recent update regarding Year End conversations.

Leadership just communicated that YE discussions are being pushed back to the first week of March.

I know delays like this can happen for a variety of reasons, but the timing and the shift to a single conversation feel unusual.

Is anyone else reading into this? Do you think this signals anything bigger, like restructuring or broader cost-control measures, or is this simply a logistical change?

Would love to hear your perspective and whether other teams are experiencing the same thing.

Deadline for Merit Increae

I didn’t have a meeting with my manager regarding my bonus or merit increase, and I was wondering if anyone knows when the deadline is for those discussions. Will a compensation statement still be released if there was no bonus or merit increase? I found this a bit surprising, as my year-end review was “Meets Expectations” and the feedback throughout the year was very positive.

Bonus is with HR? got YE rating of 2 - going into the office infrequently

Hi my manager told me that the bonus decisions are made by HR - they have their own policies..

I got an overall year end rating of 2/2/3..wondering how that will look for bonus time.. I have not been going into the office regularly too some weeks i go in twice some weeks i go in once, some weeks i go 3x..

will that affect my bonus?

Year end review comments

For two years straight I have not written mid-year or year-end comments for myself and it’s had no impact on me. I am a director reporting to a senior director. I write constructive comments for my directs, but I just don’t care and feel that no one ever reads my comments anyway. I just feel like it has no bearing on the 1.25% merit increase, so why bother?

Is it too late in the year for more layoffs?

I'm not sure how it works here, but my old company usually had two major layoffs per year, and it'd all be done by November. Can somebody please tell me how it works here? I've been here for six months, so I'm still trying to figure stuff out. Thanks in advance.

Heads up on year ends

HR did this the first year of Bora Bora and did it again. I'm not sure if this is for all departments but its definitely for mine. My manager showed the direct email from HR because of fear of the teams reactions and blaming him. all year ends were already submitted and HR required each person to be Brought down by one score level so not a single person got a 1 score. Assumingly like last time the yearly raise will be almost nothing.

Year End Review Groups and Percentages

Posting this for the inevitable questions over the coming months, or more likely next year when fears of being PIPd come up. These are the groups and the percentages for each group. Reminder: if you are in Group 4 or 5 you will not be eligible for severance. I expect very few who are let go receiving severance next year when there will be 25% of the population to choose from who would not be eligible.

Group 1 - 10% - Significantly Exceeded Expectation
Group 2 - 15% - Exceeded Expectations
Group 3 - 15% - Achieved Expectations
Group 4 - 15% - Achieved Some Expectations
Group 5 - 10% - Did Not Meet Expectations

Year end compensation exercise

Hello,

I joined the bank in July. On the HR website, it says that “new hires are eligible for a base salary adjustment if hired before September 30.”

At the same time, it seems like I will automatically receive a “Too New to Rate” rating.

Will I still be eligible for a base salary adjustment?

How To Prepare for End of Year Review

So the end of year review with my manager is coming up in a couple weeks. Looking for some advice on how I should handle the news of no raise and no promotion again this year?

Should I express my displeasure to my manager? Or should I hide it and pretend to be happy with the pittance of RSUs they have awarded me?
