Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

I’m done with this institution from HE-L

I’m a customer (ex-customer starting soon) and an employee. There is no going back after the stunt they just pulled with merit and at the same time they also let go of so many people. All in the same week. How do they look at themselves in the mirror? How? Are y’all possessed? I’m just ready to throw in the towel. The vibe is low, almost like we are in he-l.

The toxic culture established by leadership is fully sensed and understood by the bank customers, such that the managing committee knows not what they have done, regardless of whether or not they care at all

@f1 it’s not about quitting. If you can’t see what they are doing to employees then you are the problem.

So just quit. I get this is a place to complain but dang, this is just beyond that. Just no show effective Monday.

You pretty much have to be a sociopath to be in a high up position at a company like this. That’s why they don’t have a problem looking at themselves in the mirror.

Meh! It’s just another run of the mill company. Find some place else if you don’t like this one. No need to get all emotional and dramatic over a job.

@a1 sounds like some inflated person getting overpaid for probably dumping most of their work on others…

There is a population of middle managers who think they’ve escaped the axe, and because of their current favored status, got a decent merit increase and bonus. When the tables turn though, and they will, it’s going to hurt them more because they are phonies and bootlickers who have all of their eggs in the USB basket. Most, if not all of the real, authentic people from USB are long gone, and the ones left are the parasites and hangers on.

@a1 "on the path to sustained success" lmao. I hope you think about how noble the "sacrifice" is when they ship your job to india. Or maybe you think you're safe if you parrot empty platitudes and make sure to pronounce goonjin correctly. "maybe if i follow all the rules like a good slave I will be safe." Type shhhh. Boomers man...

Don’t let the door hit you in the behind on the way out. Many of us like our jobs and the people we work with and understand that limited merit and layoffs are a sacrifice to help get the company on the path to sustained success. Get out of the way and stop complaining all the time.
