Tired of getting denied for trainings

They always have "no budget"

No one goes to conferences, no one does anything to really push their career.

This company is just full of excuses for one thing another.

Im tired and done stagnating my career here.

Im getting off the titanic; everyone else should too but lets be honest if you are here for more than 5 years, you are already at the dead end of your career and everyone knows it

Amount

FIS Acquires Amount - Thoughts?

They are so pathetic where they refuse to build internal initiatives toward Cloud and AI, they acquire yet another company just to pull them down and leave them in limbo just like they are doing to Dragonfly right now. This company doesn't know how to do acquisitions let alone proper assimilation into something that's actually meaningful. This leadership team is one of the worst I've ever seen in any organization. Entirely clueless.

Most Employees have been Demoralized By Leadership

Leadership at all levels are responsible for making employees feel like cr-p.
If you were honest with yourself you would look around and see most of the people around you have been treated like shi_.

There is no way to win employees back unless the new leadership proves they value the employees.

Work on saving knowledge!

I don't understand how it's possible to lay people off when myself and my coworkers are so swamped with work that we are working 12 hour days plus weekends on salary?? So stupid! Reorg! We've lost so many longer timers with so much knowledge..we literally had to hire 3 people to fill one of their positions! Just one! But instead they are hiring more upper management!

Top Down Hierarchy

20 years with company I've always felt my ideas would be heard at any level...As a result I've made incredible impacts and generated value while leveraging cross functional teams.

Last few weeks I've noticed where basically I was told to "stay in my lane" and things are feeling very top down.

Is this the new chevron?

anyone else feeling stuck and abused?

I came here from Accenture after a long career with Tata and Deloitte. Perficient's culture is surprising poor compared to these firms and this has a lot to do with absent leadership. I only hear about things when something is wrong, but never hear when things are done right. Is it just me or does this place struggle to support it's staff? I've never felt more like a cog in a machine as I do here.

Aramco wastes money like crazy ... yet squeezes employees and contractors

There is a long list of Aramco's failed investments over the years. Let's start with Chemicals: Sadara, Petro Rabigh, Rapid and there are more coming. Wall Street research suggests that Aramco will be lucky to get their money back from these over 20 - 30 years, and Rapid isn't even in Saudi Arabia and thus creates no jobs inside the Kingdom. And all of these pale in comparison to Jafurah unconventional gas. The government has given Aramco over $100 billion to build infrastructure for gas that has yet to arrive in meaningful quantities. Management's solution to all these bad decisions seems to be to squeeze employees and contractors. Oh, and borrow more money ... or as Aramco's CFO likes to say "optimize the capital structure". I think I can safely say that everyone outside of Senior management is disgusted. Its not just Expats, good Saudis with options don't seem to want anything to do with Aramco either.
