Vote in Annual Member Meeting
For those who love to see all these complaints and pity that fly around this forum, this is your chance to make a change. Go to your proxy site and vote as you wish. If there are enough of you, you’ll have your way. If you are too lazy to even click on a button on your phone screen, then quit complaining.
Nike quietly abandoned DEI
Anyone else notice it’s no longer ever mentioned?
today’s Goulden press release
HPE is being reshaped into a leaner networking-and-AI company, and anything that doesn’t serve that thesis is now on the table.
Reorg
Is there any ongoing reorg in upstream?
Evolving Our Organizational Structure…right
We are evolving our structure and operating model by aligning leadership and decision-making more directly to the needs of each business, while centralizing select capabilities that create value across the organization.
Brian is out
This will be interesting.. anyone else see the email? Wondering if this new person will be any better
How about the Tech Team
All new leadership coming from the outside.. And all from the same group who is moving from Company to Company
Target Mandates Increased Office Presence
Target is requiring its merchandising employees to return to the office four days per week, an increase from the previous three-day mandate. This change affects buyers, planners, and inventory management staff. The company stated that increased in-person collaboration will lead to faster decision-making and stronger partnerships. This move aligns with a broader trend of companies increasing in-office requirements for employees. The new policy takes effect in early September.

Some employees are trying to learn AI on the job to future-proof their careers, but in practice, it isn’t being used effectively to resolve real bugs or drive actual development. There’s a gap between the push to adopt AI and its real, practical impact on day-to-day engineering work.
Will VCG be safe a some time(months)
With such major org changes of VCG, will VCG safe for some months?
One NM™
One NM™
Interesting. Twenty years ago we watched many greedy 1% globalists in many company leadership launch “One ___” transformations.
Different logo. Different PowerPoint template. Same promise:
- Break down silos.
- Align the organization.
- Transform the culture.
- This time it’s different.
The only real update for 2026 seems to be replacing “Digital Transformation” with “AI Transformation.”
Somewhere, a McKinsey consultant dusted off the old “One Company” deck, asked ChatBot to modernize the buzzwords, swapped “cloud” for “AI,” and sent the invoice.
The cynic in me is waiting for Phase 2:
- Announce AI.
- Hire consultants.
- Reorganize org charts.
- Explain why “global talent strategy” is the future and replace employees with offshore sweatshops and indentured foreigners.
- Celebrate short-term cost savings.
- Wonder five years later where all the institutional knowledge went.
History doesn’t repeat itself—it just gets rebranded.
Temperature check!
Upcoming role changes and AI agents (which seem promising so far), including mandatory check-ins, are all on the horizon. What's everyone's consensus on this? 🤔
Cloud PC/Virtual Desktop Finally Dead
I saw a site is collecting all the workspace hubs. The message states “this is part of a change supporting a more consistent laptop-first experience across office around the country….just a shift to leveraging your laptop vs a virtual desktop using the hub.”
Recent Changes to PADP/MLRP
Does management genuinely believe the recent PADP/MLPR changes are the best way for EM to meet its goals? If the real aim is headcount reduction, there are far less damaging approaches that don’t undermine morale. Does EM HR, the MC or board truly see these changes as strengthening the company, given the risks they introduce?
Krista get whacked today?
Any news on what happened here?
It’s time.
I'm going to hang up this phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without CEOs,, VPs, politicians, fake markets, fake wars and, A.I, without borders or boundaries. A world where anything is possible.
Morgan Park
Got the rug pulled from under us, no longer going to be working from home full-time, actually need to be in the office more of the time. Union apparently knew about this and didn’t object. Maurice is a clown.
Leadership
What’s going on PW UHG org? New CISO, CDO, ETIPs head …. mostly from financial institutions. Any insight?
I miss the old PepsiCo
I used to be proud to tell people where I worked. It felt like a company that actually cared about its people. Now it's unrecognizable.
What's coming next?
I keep wondering what the next round of changes will bring. More layoffs? Reduced hours? Title eliminations? Anyone have any insight?
Title change
I noticed my title changed. Is there a pay change also? Are there ever increases mid year?
Make the tough choices
Layoffs will continue to target citizens. Offshoring will continue to happen to India. Then those same people will be brought back in L1b in 4-5 years back to USA. Make tough choices once you open your own business and hire locally. Change needs to start at a grassroots level, vote for policies which are towards tougher immigration policies. 20 years down, US cities will be worse than Toronto. It is in our hands now.

09/04 Separation date
I applied for VSP and I can honestly say that after 15 yrs with company I am ok if they offer an earlier separation date than 09/04. I’m truly exhausted with all the changes within the company over that past few years. I don’t know what the future holds for me but I’m gonna step out on faith. My mental can’t survive this place much longer. Anyone else feeling like this?
Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits to Cut 1% of Workforce
Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (SGWS) will slash 1% of its workforce as it implements a more tech-heavy business model, the beverage-alcohol distributor announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Fiserv I knew in 2019 is gone
Long gone - retired just before and during the Operation Excellence phase of the merger. After that all he-l came in from Frank. Jeff Y was gone to a house in Florida with a ton of cash. Everybody else learned SAPIENCE at the risk of termination. Yes there were problems of course - even IBM could su-k up a disaster or two. But the relatively good firm was shot full of holes. Am very sad at what it has become today.
Changes Happening?
Anyone know of changes happening this month?
Who can right this ship?
Is there anybody in senior leadership who could actually turn things around if they were given free rein?
Remember when Siemens didn't have layoffs all the time?
I do. I can't believe how much things have changed in the 12 years since I joined.
State Budget Bill Limits NC Legal Aid
North Carolina lawmakers propose significant changes to the IOLTA program. This fund traditionally provides civil legal aid to low-income state residents. The new budget bill would restrict eligibility and redirect most incoming money. Funds would primarily support indigent criminal defense, not civil legal services. Groups involved in immigration or advocacy work would also be excluded from grants.

Health Spring
I noticed some changes in the Customer Service area. I think that the main guy that came from Cigna, a VP in Customer Service, is no longer with HCSC. Is this a one off thing? Or is the trend now to replace leadership coming from Cigna with HCSC leadership?
Germany new sick leave policy
We used to have a sick leave policy where you could take a half day sick leave or up to two days sick leave without a doctor's note. This is being changed so every half day or full day of sick leave needs a doctor's note. If there is no note, the leave would be considered as being out of office without permission and can cause suspension. This will come into effect from August or September.
SAP lobbied the current government to pass this resolution. How is the sick leave policy in your country?
I don’t understand the idea that too many people took the VSP offer
Every applicant is subject to approval. So they can control the numbers regardless of if more or less people applied than anticipated. For them to change the notification date by that much, I think there is something more going on.
Make BP AP
Here’s to hoping BP moves HQ to the U.S.A. Make British Petroleum, American Petroleum. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
