For me personally? The sooner, the better. Just end this misery already.
Merit Increases Below the National Average
With the national average for merit increases being 3.2- 3.5%, the employees here are underpaid. This was once justifiable when there was work from home, benefits, and discounts on health insurance. However, with return to work now for people leaders... — read more

Our jobs? Anyone?
Don’t you dare go above and beyond at Elevance
I learned the hard way what a mistake that is. I busted my a-s, took on extra work, and for what? They promoted someone who barely does anything - right in front of me. It was a slap in the face. This place doesn’t reward effort, it punishes it. Do... — read more
This company is boring

Knowing the date doesn't help much
It really doesn’t matter, we know the company has been doing rolling layoffs for years. Some hit big in certain areas or wipe out whole teams, some are smattering in random departments, others are due to losses of large contracts. It doesn’t matter... — read more

If the rumors about a full RTO mandate are true

Working in healthcare can be soul-ki-ling

A 100 times this!
Why is it a big issue for these senior folks or HR execs to let people know ahead of time that a RIF is coming? It’s not that anyone on here know who or what department. It would be the most humane thing to do to have people prepare instead of living... — read more
Leaving us in limbo for weeks, sometimes months, is cruel
It’s not just inconsiderate, it’s downright disrespectful. And honestly, it feels deliberate. Keep people on edge, constantly anxious and uncertain, and they’re easier to control. Easier to make them grateful for the crumbs that fall off the table... — read more
