Anybody else sick of Senior leadership saying “You are going to be asked to do more in 2026 with less funding.” I’m so sick of the greed at the Executive level. More, more, more!!! How!!!! You STEAL members copays (no matter how they spin it it’s STEALING) and put it into YOUR pocket EVERY year!!! Millions upon Millions of dollars in salary and bonus!! The percentage of pay from an average staff member and Executive's is GROSSLY out of proportion. The biggest negative on the these “surveys” is salary and bonuses. Nobody gives a cr-p about a $200 health reward or an ecard!! Staff need REAL money to pay mortgages, rent, put food on the table and maybe take a nice vacation every one awhile. SHAME on GAIL, the board, Executives, Presidents, and VP’s. We deserve better. Us employees need to stand together…know YOU are what makes the difference NOT any of the Executives.

@dmr dose of clarity - managers get sc--wed all the time - levels above that enjoy all the benefits and perks.
Goal for 2026 - meet expectations - learn phrases like:
1 - Sounds good
2- Hmm, interesting
3 - Not a problem
Need a lofty goal - seek to leverage my knowledge and experience to help meet all goals for the team and business unit
Plan - look for another job elsewhere, or retire.
@ct I agree. I started this job because I thought that we were going to help people but as it turns out, it’s all numbers and to he-l with the members I cannot keep up with this and what I have discovered is that we are really working for the managers and their bonuses and whether the ones doing all the work
@12e improve your skill set for your resume
I left at the end of 2023. The new job has its own issues as all jobs do, but it pays better and has better leadership. Start looking and jump when you can
@10g why do you think your entitled to job security? No one had that.
Want to be bullet proof….improve your skill set consistently.
When they start giving decent raises, offering job security & career path, and stop laying people off every month, then I'll start working harder.
It's the same story with slightly altered jargon each year. They say the same things to make us think money is scarce so later they can deny us decent raises, put off promotions - again, and further reduce AIP while simultaneously loading up the SLT with their giant salaries and bonuses. It's all a pack of lies.
They can ask me to do more all they want, I'm still not doing a dang thing.
The impact awards just impact my taxes but not in a good way. Got 100 points which I cashed in for a 100 gift card then got taxed 150. Thanks for nothing essentially.
Nah - I will take choice 3, active disengagement until layoff or buyout. Thanks anyway.
2026 will be the year of the great exit. So many are setting to leave. This company has morphed into deep greed, deception, and corruption. I will not tolerate any of this in my career any longer. There is zero way to be successful and feel right on my impact on humanity by working for Elevance.
At this point, you have 2 choices - accept it (didn't say like it) or move on. I left this summer - what a relief! This place has morphed so much over the past couple of years and not in a good way. I would never go back for any reason.
Reality is - Get less for less - then gaslight everyone to think less is more. American values of hard work equals opportunities is being eroded. The American dream still lives, just exported to other countries.
Using a team for your personal gain, such as by withholding good projects for favorites while using others for menial tasks, is a form of workplace favoritism.
This the opposite of what I want. I want to do less for more. I want to do nothing for lots. I am aiming for people leader.
Guess they can justify off shore workers if they run all the US employees away, seems like they are trying to make people quit with all the “More with less “. Especially in operations. Can look like they aren’t the bad guy to the public.
Come on now - who doesn't like an E Card - Impact Awards slim every year until they are gone- we have been asked to do MORE WITH LESS FOR YEARS. We never have money to fix things, or hire ops, only have money for puffer vests, bonuses, SLT salary, sales trips and awards . This is going to be the year of the AIP phase out, Impact Award phase out and more micromanagement. So glad it is my last year. This place needs to wake up - I can't tell you how many people have a plan to leave.
Yes, it's pretty bad. Same story every year. Notice that revenues are constantly climbing year after year, yet funding is always decreased. Every year it is cut, cut, cut.
The peons suffer while the SLT fattens their wallets.
