Unsafe about what?

If you don’t feel safe, find a new job. I don’t say that to be snide. Find a full time remote job or one where you feel safe. Our offices are safer than the mall and other public places so it just depends on what you need to feel safe.
@ff That’s not a way to live. Maybe it’s what the world has become. Maybe we gotta stand up and do something about it for ourselves and our compatriots.
I’m a nobody at Elevance. I don’t see being on the same level of targeting as a CEO. We have a parking deck at our PulsePoint and entry to the building is underground. So as safe as anyone in today’s world going to and from work.
Living in fear people is not the answer. Only fear , fears itself.. be brave and true to yourselves. Stay vigilant and be aware of your surroundings. For example note exits when you go into stores, movies etc..or make note of street activity and avoid it if possible. Don't make yourself of victim.. goodness gracious let's be kind. We need to support each other. Blessings 🙏
@bm I worked on myself several times today. It was very satisfying. Thanks for the sage advice!
@aj There's no need to be rude. Work on you.
@b7 Methinks thou doth protest too much.
@b2 You’re right. The world is too dangerous for you. Please stay in your parents’ basement, and never leave.
@aj to the poster that wrote - You should all just stay home In mommy’s basement. She’ll make you chicken tendies and grilled cheese for lunch!
I am sure there are some rules on what can be posted on this site - so I am considering that rather than post what a total tool you are - do you work in HR? you fit the profile - uncaring sarcastic keyboard warrior - you know where you can go -
They expect us to do their free advertising when we volunteer.
Tell Gail to get her tee shirt on and come volunteer if it's expected of the people she claims to care about.
When people are being shot every other week in the middle of the day on my route to and from the PulsePoint location, yes, I fear for my life. Does the company really need rent that cheap???? I also won't tell anyone where I work because I got tired of fielding all of the complaints too. I would give anything not to be living in one of the EH 14 states.
@aj I would love that.
Surely this post is a joke? Nice try - HR and management will laugh you out of the office. You should all just stay home In mommy’s basement. She’ll make you chicken tendies and grilled cheese for lunch!
When people ask me where I work I make up things like Home Health or some clinic for weight loss or something like that - I no longer say I work here - tired of hearing the complaining and constant requests to explain why things are not covered/paid or how hard it is to work with this place - its exhausting and embarrassing. It's also kinda scary to leave work in the downtown area - especially worried when it gets darker sooner.
With the medical loss ratio projected to be higher, it's going to get worse.
@a3 every single day
Yes it is the new normal. I don't sit near a window facing the street. Nor do I wear any Anthem t- shirts in public either. Also, I check this website every morning before I check pulse. Does any one else do that?
