Listening to the finance Townhall. What more can I say. Disappointing. I wish I could post questions anonymously to ask during the Townhall. I wish I could say what I really think that all the leaders and speakers are bullsh-t. I could rephrase bullsh-t into more articulate words but I don’t see the point. vest man is bullsh-t and he’s running this company into the ground.

The only thing needed is CEO and CIO flying a private jet to India for multi day visit to India and spending most time at Agra, Jaipur etc. only a day or few hours at offshore offices - this just costs company ‘000 of thousands! First visit in ~7 years, a nice family trip before wrapping up the on company dime. What a shame to what has happened to this company. Brown nose, private conversations, I like you - you like me…. That’s what matters for his SLT.

@ah I actually wear two watches. I wear one watch my grandfather gave me and it reminds me of how much wisdom he gave me. I also wear an Apple Watch given I am focused on my health. Maybe just me, I understand why some people wear two watches.

@bs Yes, he wore a watch at a town hall that was estimated to cost at least 60k, which was in poor taste given the RIF’s (as is the talk of vacations at second homes, trips to Europe, 2k a pop tickets to Taylor Swift, expeditions to climb Everest) - the SLT does not read the room or just doesn’t give a S**t. When the pricey watch was called out, likely on this site, he appears to have shown up at the next town hall and all subsequent town halls wearing 2 watches.

Is headwinds a code name for the gas passed by the flatulent, incompetent, overcompensated senior leadership team? Apparently caviar can make you gassy, I googled it! McVesty and 2watch keep saying that no one could have seen things coming - but on this very site there are actuaries who say they were told…
Stay focused and finish strong ( but you're getting no AIP)
I was a former manager there and would ask questions like why is senior leadership selling stock and asking us to buy stock and signed my name. They never responded to any of my questions. The questions are made up that they read or created by Spark.
Why do you need 2 watches?
@a2 honestly. Vest-man and most of two-watch’s people are just navel gazing - every change is unanticipated and a surprise - how can that be of their job is to anticipate the market?
I agree they are full of it! I love how they made sure to throw out rates for 2026 premiums are already set. When ACA rolled out our group health insurance sky rocketed with ACA being the culprit. Cancer dr-gs have been lowered as well. But our 2026 premiums are going up and deductible’s. Also this is the third longest government shutdown down they said the second.
Yep. I do not know why they keep him around. I wish I could blame all my mistakes on headwinds. But isn’t that supposed to be part of his job, anticipating the headwinds better?
