One of the very few good company programs

It must be out of GPS, but I really like the program where we hire people with mental disabilities to clean the kitchens throughout campus. I genuinely think it's nice even though it's not always convenient.

But I don't think we've taken this program far enough. I think as a way of turning around the company we should replace the majority of VPs and Senior directors across the company with people from this program.

Now some of you may argue that people with severe mental disabilities aren't going to be able to operate in high functioning positions like Nike vice presidents and senior directors do. But at this point I'm willing to take that bet.

Funding Changes Force UK HIV Program Closure, 61 Jobs Cut

A University of Kentucky HIV prevention program will cease operations. This will result in layoffs for 61 employees. The program will end on June 30. Changes in funding caused the closure. It aimed to reduce HIV infections and improve care.

Colleges Nationwide Implement Staff and Program Reductions

Colleges across the United States announced hundreds of layoffs and buyouts in April. Budget deficits, state funding reductions, and enrollment losses drove these decisions. Hampshire College and Anna Maria College are closing and laying off hundreds of employees. The University of Maryland and University of Wisconsin also plan significant job reductions. Syracuse University and East Carolina University are eliminating programs and offering faculty buyouts.

RFE Program?

Not layoff related, but what’s the deal with this Program?

Some people on my team it seems like it’s all they work on, and other people don’t even know what it is. I get pulled in randomly, but other than a few new policies, I’m not sure what or why we are doing this, especially with the big ROE push?

Maryland program supports federal worker entrepreneurs

Federal layoffs impacted nearly 25,000 jobs in Maryland during 2025. The Maryland Women's Business Center launched a new program in response. Called 'Founders Rising', this 8-week program aids laid-off federal workers. It teaches participants to develop business concepts and launch new firms. Dr. Stefany Holguin successfully launched her healthcare consulting firm after completing the program.

Can anyone who knows the workings of Microsoft Office answer some questions

I want to know how I can uninstall Microsoft Outlook from my Boeing computer.
I don't want to receive or read any more useless emails every day or respond back to them. I get about 20 emails a day from, coworkers asking about my work, my manager asking me useless questions and emails from Boeing corp. About a year ago, I changed the Outlook settings so my Inbox will never receive any emails in it. All the emails sent to me by anyone go directly in to my Delete folder. I manually empty the Delete folder every day before I log off my computer. I'm tired of having to do the manually empty delete folder every day and want to uninstall Outlook from my computer. Can someone provide the how to uninstall Outlook steps?

SAP

Is anyone else already fed up with a SAP? I love that the company is installing a new program that makes every aspect of the company less efficient in a time that we need to be the most efficient to make a decent profit.

GrowthX?

Has anyone managed to work out what Ramnaths latest email on his new initiative, GrowthX, is all about?
I can’t quite work through his management-speak word salad well enough to truly understand what this program is aiming to do.
I’m genuinely interested and will suspend my usual cynicism until I can understand the email.
Confused.

Will this lead to a layoff?

I have been on leave since February and recently returned. I have been out of the loop, to say the least. Usually, I feel more 'in the know', but I feel vulnerable and on the outside. Understanding that...

I am currently in a role that supports the Texas Duals program. I was wondering, if based on leadership meetings (that I missed), and possibly other things, like internal conversations with other areas, mgmt. etc., if any one thinks there will be layoff around the program terminating at the end of the year? My role directly supports the program, so I am wondering if I should start looking elsewhere.
