My heart goes out to everyone who was let go last week. With the economy and job market like this, I don't think the timing could be worse. The company's disregard for people's lives is shocking and cruel.

It makes no sense to fire your most valuable workers to cut costs but here we are again.

If they really need to save money, they should look at the overpaid directors and VPs who contribute nothing. So many managers here are terrible at leading people. Letting them go would be a positive.
