Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Jobs Posted Are Bogus/Faux

Majority of UHC/Optum job postings are bogus/faux. They are posted to suffice investors & shareholders that business is booming. Employees know differently. Stock has taken a hit & the scramble continues. Mass layoffs are desperate attempt to save the sinking ship.

For those let go, don’t plan to get re-hired. It’s smoke & mirrors on our job boards. HireVue, interviews with recruiters & hiring managers - it’s all faux. This is reported to investors & gives illusion all is good. Facts don’t lie.

Job posts go through multiple rounds of approval and finance.. it's not like they can just post fake jobs.. where are you getting your info from

@a8 I know folks that applied at 100% match and probably best fit in company did not get interviews. Some are pre determined some are bogus and some are for h1b green card certification. Net maybe less than 5 percentage are real ones

Talent Resource team was part of RIF. Don’t need as many FTEs to post bogus jobs & conduct useless interviews. Using more HireVue where it’s automated & no human intervention required. If you don’t smell the smoke from all the BS, you’ll be caught off guard. Anyone (yes, anyone) thinking they are safe from RIFs are delusional.

Companies post jobs to meet regulatory requirements for different reasons, to receive federal and state funds , meet EEOC guidelines and other such nonsense, that does not mean they are hiring anyone.

What is your source? Do you work in HR or recruiting? I don't necessarily disagree with you, but curious where you get your info and if it is based on fact, not opinion.
