I can’t say I’m happy about it, just relieved I still have a job. Two people on my team were let go.

I would rather be laid off than dealing with what we’re dealing with now. This company is a joke. They let go my friend who has been here 18 years. Makes me sick!
Ever notice that leadership talks about being impacted referring to those who were RIF’d but assuming that those left behind are not impacted. Unreal. On top of that have a town hall proclaiming greatness while people’s lives are being destroyed. The disconnect the “leaders” have with reality is why things have spiraled. Their greed has blinded them. If they had any level of integrity in leadership they would all take salaries of the average employee and not get a penny more until this stops and everyone gets a real cost of living increase aside from a merit raise. Last I checked inflation. Is near 10%. Let’s start there.

I’d rather get severance plus half year of UE (in MN) than do the work of 3 people as you described. Sorry to hear.
