I wish people would stop parroting the "impacted" euphemism. It's either "laid off" or "fired". Not even "RIF", because that implies that the job is gone. The job is never gone, it's just done by someone else that remains.

Several have been communicated to today. The rest in the morning. Any word on what groups are impacted?

If you’re a Band 6 people leader in the CXO, you’re impacted. About 90% of Band 5 is impacted and already informed on Monday.

At this rate, I don’t have much hope for individual contributors. I also don’t know what Tanya is going to do with her VP, Digital Channels title.

Senior folks like Director level people like SMEs including engineering Prod owners were let go - this Friday is last day.

Professional Services got severely impacted in March. Do we know what’s the count this time?

If you are impacted it would help to understand the BU, team or even location. The company is too big to try and figure what jobs are impacted this time around.

Received surplus notice today. L2 IC 26 years in Dallas. Townes org with exceeds targets in last 2/3 years. Raise the bar recipient 4 years ago. Wrong place at the wrong time. Anyone can be impacted by this machine. Keep looking forward!

As much fear and angst that have been posted on tbis board for the past few weeks about the 17th being doomsday and the small number of posts today, this sure seems like a nothingburger with a small number of people impacted.

Dont comment to say everyone will be hit. Comment your insider details on what you have heard so far. My PL and their director claim to have no clue and promise to be transparent. Someone has to know something.

I am not sure of how many will be impacted but June 25th is the date for June layoffs. I hate this for anyone impacted, but brace yourselves and just know if this is not your moment to be affected, give grace to those who were and ready your personal finances.

I'm so sorry for everyone. I truly hope everybody gets lucky and lands a decent job fast.

I apologize to anyone dealing with the lay off. Both the website and dealing with being laid off. It’s one of the roughest experiences I’ve ever been through myself. But you will make it.

And if Fidelity is reading this, I will pay you to find whoever keeps making the Boston devops posts and take away their phone.
