Former manager and adjacent manager gave good feedback to HR. Hiring manager was going to make an offer and at the last minute this came through.

Found a opening or what I thought was an opening on Indeed. I applied for it, got the email confirmation from Indeed and the email from UHG HR advising to complete the UHG application on the company website. When I clicked the link to open the company website from their own email the job posting was “no longer available.” In the same exact day within a couple hours of my Indeed app.
Wtf?! I’m wondering if its because they realized I was a former employee (from my email address) and didnt want to rehire me.
I thought I left in good standing - I received recognitions while I was working there.

Just curious if anyone has insight - I was impacted on 3/31 but was contacted by Oracle for positions they are trying to fill for the VA. I submitted my application(s) and also have been networking within Oracle Health. It seemed positive, but things have gone "quiet" and I have received the "Dear John" rejects about my applications.

Don't roast me, but I got an offer to get hired back after getting impacted last year. Ultimately Intel pays more for my role than anywhere else. For the life of me I can't find the percentage of severance I'd have to pay back relative to the months from getting laid off. Does anyone have that information? Has Intel actually enforced it?

People are getting rehired by DELL after years of working for other employers. Why so many people are returning to DELL is the question. Long story short, I left AIG for more $ and to expand on my insurance knowledge with different lines. AIG actually has the best PTO benefits out there the pay raises su-ked from my experience. I am looking to come back to AIG. What is the chances I would be hired back being a former employee and fully remote like it used to be?

Has anyone been rehired after the 60 day period ? Not necessarily in the position you were in before. There were some very good people let go and It would be good to rehire them. Or are the laid off workers untouchable.
