Does anyone have any idea of the direction of this new merged consumer office? It looks like a lot of role overlap. Will there be rifs on 3/19 for this area? Seems like the uhc consumer office folks are in a stronger position than the optum.

Always remember UHC is the business side, they bring the income. OPTUM used to be IT to maintain and develop products, no the only reason for Optum existence is to fix the offshore mishaps. Very sad, but true.
Isn't this the same team that paid for Disneyland trips for Benson Chan and a SVP (Thatcher?) with all of those layoffs happening? Looks really bad.
My experience with that team has often been negative. Lots of viciousness and posturing. Might be good to get rid of some of those leaders.
