For those of you that were RIF’d or know someone that was, when do they send the meeting invite to let you know?

@dy Ge-z, they make surprise calls now without a meeting? I guess they're changing it up to keep us off guard?
No meeting invite here just a random call, which was smart becuase they knew i would know what was up, lol

I had coworkers in different departments who got the meeting invite that morning 30 minutes before the meeting my department received the email at 6 o’clock the night before for an 830 meeting

I’ve been through several RIF’s. The larger one was sent the night before at about 7pm. The smaller one was sent out at about 8:30am the day of the RIF.
No notice given today. Only an email stating you were being laid off and who to contact. People packed stuff up today and left.

I was 2/6 and was notified day of an hour notice.
@OP I have lost staff twice so far(Oct and Nov 2025) . Both times they received a meeting invite less than an hour prior. 10am meeting. I was notified minutes before that it was happening, but they would not provide names until after they were notified. I am GL 27. I am sure each division does it differently. Expecting some activity tomorrow, but ofcourse dont know for sure. We are Optum Health, remote clinical phone teams.
@OP last year it was 10-15 minutes prior to the meeting when they RIF'd our whole team.
