Joining everyone else sending resumes into the void. Really hoping something breaks in the next month or so. This place has a terrible name now and for good reason. The way they handle people, the way they make you feel like nothing, it's disgusting. And don't get me started on how they measure success. All made up numbers that mean nothing. Half my team does nothing useful all day.

Started here a month ago and I'm already looking for the exit
This forum helped me make that decision.
Is it time to abandon ship ?
It seems that every day I'm hearing that another person left voluntarily. On top of that I'm not seeing any new names coming in for backfill, or even job postings to try and bring someone in.
It just feels like we're at the breaking point, and I dont know how to recover.
Just biding my time at this point
I am so sick of all of the non-stop change that isn't improving a g**mn thing around here. I'm sick of being paid below market, considering all of the licenses I'm required to hold to do my job. I'm sick of HQ people punting every question to another department because they don't know the answer and their leaders don't know what the word accountability means. I'm tired of being the whipping post for every FA that is having a bad day or is told to do something they don't feel like doing.
Therefore, I'm going to su-k it up for just a few more years until I reach the Rule of 70 and can keep my LP units (for whatever they're worth), then I'm out. There are plenty of firms in this industry that will pay far better than Edward Jones.
I hope that every last bit of this Enterprise Reimagined backfires in spectacular fashion and leaves PP/DC and the rest of the ELT that's ruined so many lives on the hook to figure out how to run a firm without any US employees that give a chicken fried f**k about the future of this company.
I'm done. Almost 20 years of my life reduced to hating the place I go to every day to barely break even.
I wish they'd laid me off a year ago
I'd be settled somewhere new by now, instead of sitting here praying my number doesn't get called. I don't even recognize this place anymore, and I know it's just going to get worse.
I absolutely hate Nike and hate working here
I'm an id--t for staying this long. Now I desperately want out, but there are no jobs. I'm stuck, thanks in part to my own laziness.
The list of better options
I've started making a list of jobs I'd rather do than stay here. Stocking shelves overnight. Washing dishes at a diner. Answering complaints for a utility company. All of them sound amazing compared to one more shift in this place. That's where I'm at right now.
Please lay me off
Oy with this cr-p company for 7 months so prob wouldn't severance but I can't stand this place, I dread every day
What are my chances
Everyday I wake up and thank God I left Honeywell
I left in 2020. Been out six years. Best decision of my life. I have a 25-year professional life and I can easily say Honeywell was the worst company I have ever worked for.
I now make SUBSTANTIALLY more and have so much less stress.
It won't get better. Your work environment won't improve. No one is going to fix it for you. They don't care. Leave. They will simply hire another su---r to fill your spot.
ATTENTION ACTIVE SALES POLL
If you are an active sales rep….
Type # 1 if leaving after 4/1
Type # 2 if staying after 4/1
Who isn't looking for a way out?
Everyone I talk to already has one foot out the door.
I've noticed something strange over the years
The one topic that gets everyone nodding along is how much we'd all rather be somewhere else. We don't bond over the mission or the culture or the work. We bond over wanting to escape it. There's something deeply ironic about that. A whole workforce united by the shared goal of not being part of the workforce. Great job, BofA.
Send out your CV to other companies before it's too late. The job market is already hard.
Ship is sinking.
Can't wait to leave IBM
I used to love working here. Now I'll take almost anything to get out. IBM has changed so much in the last decade to the point it's completely unrecognizable. The first half-decent offer I get, I'm gone.
Post
every day since leaving Optum, I count my blessings... what you're going through sounds truly exhausting, and none of you should have to put up with it... Wishing you all a way out sooner rather than later.godspeed
Getting worse and worse
I hate this company. Micro managing is becoming intolerable
Luckily I have 3 years savings so can walk out and likely will
Do you want to be laid off?
Sometimes it feels like people are rooting for layoffs with the way they keep predicting them. Every other post tries to guess the date, as if saying it enough will make it happen. When something is official, we will hear about it. Until then, maybe stop tempting fate.
Might as well start packing
We all know what's coming once the latest acquisition goes through. Things were already bad, and they're about to become much, much worse. Might as well start looking for something new right away, although good options seem to be shrinking every single day.
Not worth it
Boss has no life outside work and expects the same from me. He's paid well, I'm not. Even if I was, I wouldn't sacrifice everything for this place. Starting my search.
I hate Sundays
They're too close to Mondays. I need more time to recharge my batteries. Working at Oracle has become so draining that I'm always tired. Always. I'm considering walking away even with nothing lined up. I just don't know how much more of this my mental health can take.
To leave or not to leave? That is the question
Every day I log in to work and think, why the fu-k am I still here?
The pay sure as he-l isn’t keeping me around. My manager looks like they’re one bad meeting away from quitting, and the people reporting to me are obviously trying to get the he-l out. It feels like I’m standing in the middle of a slow-motion collapse, pretending everything’s fine while everyone else is quietly polishing their résumés.
At this point, it’s hard not to wonder what the he-l I’m even sticking around for.
Best Employees Leaving
Some of the best employees are leaving. I got news today that an employee who goes above and beyond for our Optum and Wellmed clinics has resign. What is happening!!!!!!!!!!!
0% Raises and Exxodus
So many resignations. Looks like the 0% raises are having the desired effect. I for one am applying and trying to leave. What are you doing?
Trying so hard to leave ASAP
I can’t wait to leave
CREB
Have a couple of friends in CREB, and it sounds terrible over there. One was telling of an opening whereby the workload would quadruple from her current load, with no pay raise whatsoever if she took the job. Also heard today of a very senior leader leaving and his role is not being replaced, but instead his duties will roll up to his manager going forward, who lives on the other side of the country. Sounds like morale is in the toilet as well within that group because of workload with continued reductions in total compensation. They all agreed that nobody is happy and basically everyone is looking to leave when they get the chance. Ouch.
Integrity/Risk Awareness
Retail branch managers in my city are telling us to call clients on the federal do not call list and if a sale happens on the call, we are to log that we didn’t “lead” with the sale. I helped out at one branch recently and there bankers are being told the same as my branch. Previously when I started working here, the manager would tell us that we are to log bad contact information on the lead and leave notes that it is on the do not call list. We are now told that if we don’t call clients on the federal do not call list and if we log bad contact information that we will be in hot water with area manager. We are told this change is coming from our area manager and it’s been going on for a little over a month now. I do believe it’s coming from above my branch manager because I’m seeing it at more than just my location due to helping branches with turnover. Most recently this area manager is “encouraging” the managers get us to do seemingly unscrupulous stuff with opening accounts dda units and shifting dollars to our area. Is they’re funny business coming from way up top being seen everywhere or is it just area leadership in north Florida? Relatively new to this bank and wondering if I should prepare an exit before staying too long.
This company is ruining my exit opportunities.
I have had on numerous occasions been looked at funny or questioned deeper because I stated I work at this company. On one occasion, I was told good luck getting a job outside of there, everyone hates UHG right now and will question your morals/values. I am at a loss for words. I am trying to leave this company ASAP, but I am not hearing back from anywhere.
Yes, the grass really is greener elsewhere
A rapidly deteriorating culture, a toxic manager, and the bad direction Humana was taking drove me away. I couldn't even wait to be laid off. I managed to land a job where my skillset was a much better fit. Almost no overtime, a decent manager, a great team, and sensible leadership. Here's hoping the first impressions hold up. But even just the change of scenery has made me feel ten times better. Do yourself a favor - look for something else as if your life depended on it.
What to do in current situation?
I'm a middle aged employee, having some financial commitments, was a high performer, have been given 4 last year. The work I am doing I'm not needed for it. Told multiple times, build another resource who may replace but I believe they are keeping me as scapegoat that any wave comes it's going to be me..I am trying outside but not getting anything suitable..still trying..but I want to understand from you all what you would have done if in my place. Everyday going to workplace is stressful and core irritating. I know everyone around me knows my rating and understand that I am the next scapegoat still I need to do my job quietly this fact is eating me. I can't stop working as my micromanager ask status everyday .. I am tired not working but mentally
Any, and I mean ANY, job is better than this
I'm at the point where a pay cut sounds very much worth it if it means leaving this toxic place. I can't take much more of this culture.
My advice: get out while you can
If you're still at Gainwell, you should be actively looking elsewhere. This place offers nothing but uncertainty and shrinking benefits. I'm honestly shocked more people haven't left by now. I'm working on my exit and can't wait to be done with this place.
Protect yourself
I'm telling you, this job is harmful. You need to plan your exit. Dedicate some time to networking and applying elsewhere. Otherwise, this place will ruin your mental and physical health.
I'm about done
I calculate my savings every single week just to see if I can afford to quit. The daily stress and negativity have long stopped being worth the salary. It's gotten so bad that I've been considering some very risky financial choices just for my peace of mind. And to think I used to love my job and recommend Cisco to anybody and everybody as a great workplace.
Just got laid off
Buh bye. Who's next?
2026 layoffs are doubtful
I doubt there will be any major layoffs in 2026. They want to look good with the old CEO is leaving and the new joining. There are still remote employees around that did not let go. Some they did, wonder their justification?
No Raise if…..
Your salary is past the mid point. Just another FU from this sh-t a$$ company. Can’t wait to leave
Anyone here who tried to leave the company accept a counter offer to stay?
Have another job opportunity elsewhere, just like several of you folks our team is pretty understaffed, and it would be almost impossible to do a knowledge transfer session during my last two weeks. I assume I may get a counter offer, and if the salary is high enough, I’d be okay with staying. Although I’d be concerned that I’d be targeted for the next layoff…. Anyone been in a similar position or any advice?
