I am new here but already getting the sense that layoffs are just part of the deal. I'm trying to figure out if this is something people always stress over or if it comes in waves and then fades.
Reorg

Is 55yrs old a must for VRP ?
I am 52 and want to take VRP but not eligible for it. Anyone knows if HR would bridge 3 years and give me the package? It would be hard to stay 3 more years. I will lose more than 50% of my pension if I leave before 55.
Best of the Best
Help me understand how we can commit to doing a national event and yet we are told we are on a travel and spending freeze. Don’t spend money…..but have a rally and breakfast. I would rather spend money on my team instead of a wasteful and unnecessary... — read more
VRP….next re-org
Ok, now the VRP details are out. What’s next, another reorg, job posting freezes and more unwarranted promotions to backfill the tenured folks leaving. Oh wait, don’t forget the travel freeze! Buckle up!

Anybody else exhausted from always thinking about layoffs?
Even when we're supposed to be safe, there's always that thought in the back of my mind, ever since we were completely blindsided one time. I just want to be able to focus on my work once again without stressing and worrying, but I don't see it... — read more
Worked all weekend and soaked up double time
Now I’m double time and a half today. Stocking shelves taking my sweet sweet time. None of the TSLs or merch supervisors around and I have another store left. Cool 16 hour+ day. Paycheck is going to be fat!

Summer Fridays?
Are they happening this year? Feel like usually see comms on this prior to Memorial Day.
No planned layoffs
I know there are certain pockets out there seeing layoffs but I don’t see anything major coming this year
Some of us work hard and follow our own ethics because that is simply who we are
It is not about expecting a reward. I actually get a real sense of satisfaction from doing a job well, no matter where I am or who I work for. But here is the thing all of us have to accept. Do not expect loyalty back. Do not expect appreciation. Do... — read more
PFUS plan miss
Hearing PFUS leadership is saying privately that they will miss plan in 2026 and 2027. What will be higher, the team score or percentage of people who are still around by 2028?
Rant
Funny how things changed. We used to have strong MIM teams where directors and senior directors were actually involved — on calls, driving resolution, owning outcomes, and working side by side with delivery teams during major incidents. You knew... — read more
