I'm an id--t for staying this long. Now I desperately want out, but there are no jobs. I'm stuck, thanks in part to my own laziness.

Totally agree, never quit, never stop
just like the terminator
it.
does.
not.
stop.
set the pace, some years are slower than others, but it only takes a couple good years to get ahead
Some supportive words during these though times:
Just think of your debt and bills. You have to keep working. If you’re lucky to have a mortgage, you got that bill along with all the house expenses. Your rent keeps going up and it’s impossible to save for a down payment. And your new truck with its 5 year lease. You HAVE to keep working. Maybe you got child support and alimony from that ugly divorce. Work, work, work. You gotta work. At least 401k contribute for the company match. Still won’t be enough to retire. So good luck. Keep working and working and working.
Good idea. Houses are cheap in west VA. Average home is $169K. I can sell my Beaverton home for $700k and take that coal mining job use my world class supply chain skill
Move to West Virginia and get a job there as a Coal miner. You will be glad you did because you will finally get out of rainy, overcast, depressing Portland Oregon
Yeah, they know Nike's dirty secret that we are talentless employees. Mostly due to lack of leadership.
We are good with pointing fingers. Learned that from JD point fingers HAHA
Ask around the PDX metro. You will find out, Nike has a bad rap
@at shhh Indian troll go away.
No one is hiring Nike people in PDX Metro. They know we are trash employees....
Good awareness. Now you have the opportunity to do better. there’s always a period of chaos after the big reorgs. Use the time to find a new path
I quit because I hated my manager and saw this coming 2 years ago.
@OP you became lazy because you joined Nike brother. Same is the case with me.
LOL, Indian H1b or ITC says what?
