This company is going down, the job market isn’t nearly as bad as what people are saying. You are so smart! There are companies that value your time and won’t fight you to make progress. It’s time to send out applications. It’s not worth staying here and fighting, they sold us all out, but the future for you is bright.

May layoffs? Round two?
May layoffs? Round two?
Does anyone smell may layoffs prior to desk movement in June?
Are there new onshore/offshore people joining your team?
Find your next!
If you are thinking about leaving, leave! This MC is making a ton of bad decisions and the titanic known as Fiserv is taking on water. Find your lifeboat and get out. It is only a matter of time and I assure you, they do not value you or your knowledge. And at this stock price.... decision is a lot easier.
Dumped them before they dumped me! (Victory Post)
Welp - I did it everyone, and I have not one ounce of remorse or regret! After months of executives pushing me to work HOURS after my shift, just to appease others for their own benefit, I pushed my resume out and about and proud to say that I got my rear out of there! Grass is way greener on the other side, except mine comes mixed with sand and a nice ocean breeze! Don’t be afraid to look elsewhere for long term security, in my time with Onsemi I’ve learned that they’ll (executive level management) will never value you unless they have no clue on how to replace you if you perform critical work. After years of getting 3s on my PA despite being a top performer, I’m taking my talents elsewhere and they can take a page from their own book and learn to solve their own problems now! Guess if they mess it up they can always fill out a 5-why, but there goes that cushion that I’ve given them for ages! Wish nothing but the best for my previous team though, those guys were all-stars! Goodluck everyone!
Old titles still active, next for RIFs?
I have noticed that my team still has the old titles( i.e. no lead , principal etc. but rather titles like senior). Also seems like we are next in line for RIFs? Has anybody heard anything regarding this?
I am looking for a new job not wanting to stay with this company under this leadership, but still want to know where I al.
The stress-to-reward ratio here is completely broken
I'd do anything else at this point - different company, different industry, I don't care. Healthcare years are like dog years. One equals five. And I think I just ran out of years.
Opinions sought... Is it bad that I want to go?!
I actually WANT to get laid off! Anyone have tips on how to get on that list? Long story short, I'm so tired of the bs but want to get that severance.
What are the chances you'll still be at Xerox in 2027?
If that happens to me personally, I'll consider myself a complete failure.
The only reason to go along with rebadging is to buy a little more time
I've been job hunting for months. Calling the market "slim pickings" is generous, and it's only going to get worse. We're heading toward a place where beggars can't be choosers. Anything, anywhere, for any amount of time, will have to do.
What do they do before they lay you off or ask you to quit?
Anything in particular that they do or what we should watch for to let us know they are going to either lay us off or force us to quit?
Looking for a job while you still have one is always the smarter play
That's the only reason I'm going along with rebadging. After that, all my time and energy go toward finding something else.
I'm okay with this
I’ve been here for over a decade, and I’d be lying if I said it was all bad. There were good times too, even if the bad has been more prominent in recent years. I’ll miss my coworkers, and I’m hoping we’ll still grab a drink now and then. I’m ready to move on. Good luck to everyone else, I hope life treats you well.
I want to get laid off.
How do I make it happen? Thanks
Any News????
Does anyone have any news about layoffs? Have they started? What can we expect? When are they planned?
Are they really going to happen tomorrow?
I know there are too many articles and posts signaling the layoffs are going to happen tomorrow , i.e. 3/31. Since it’s just a day, anyone can confirm here if they got some hints or would get today. No trolls please! Asking genuinely. Will then balance out the work and backing up.
Asking for US.
Everything seems so normal except online.
Situation outside our bubble is dire
I would otherwise be out without a second thought. I don't know what your experience is, but there are barely any jobs out there. I reached my peak burnout just as there are no options left. Well, I'll just tread water here until better times, trying not to go nuts from having to show up here every day.
Citi is going downhill rapidly
I don't see a long-term future here anymore. I don't think anybody should.
One of the most painful and unsatisfying jobs I've ever had
I can't believe I put myself into this position. The environment is toxic, we have extremely poor people managers, most of them are micromanagers, and tools and processes are broken or ineffective. There is massive burnout not just in my team, but anywhere I look. Getting out of here is my number one goal.
Why
Why does anyone work here anymore? I can't wait to be laid off or quit, hoping for the former! Wasn't today walk out day? If you get fired do you still have to pay back sign on bonus?
next layoff
DOes anyone know when the next layoff at wellmed will be? Im looking into quitting but would like to wait until the next layoffs. Just in case so i can get my severance package. Either way, im ready to get out of here
I hope I'm on the list this time
I just can't do this anymore. I'd take anything else at this point, even something that pays less. I know the market is rough, I know the odds. But I've got savings, severance would buy me some time, and I'll figure it out. There will be other jobs. Putting aside the constant uncertainty and the overall sense of decline, both of which have been deeply demoralizing, I think I'm just personally burnt out. Not the best time for a major change, but it is what it is.
I think about quitting every day now
No offense intended to any recent layoffs or anyone that might be affected in the future.
I am a long term high performer. As a result of a recent reorg, bringing our team into IT that shouldn't be in IT, they put me in a brand new role I'm horrible at and I hate, and are overworking me to death. Not only does my leadership have no fu--ing clue what they're doing, they are extremely thin skinned, and not open to feedback. So fu-k it, maybe they're right, I'm not equipped for a role in their stupid bullsh-t org. I think they're going to fu-k up royally and cost the company a lot of money, but let them own it.
I am now begging, pleading with everyone I know internally to try to find a life raft. I don't even care if I have to take a pay hit, this stress is taking years off my life and will be very damaging to my career. But if I can't find something, externally or internally, I think I just need to quit. This is the d-mbest sh-t in the universe, and I really am the atlas holding a bunch up, so fu-k it, let them deal with the consequences of their stupid choices and yes men bullsh-t. They're about to do something very stupid that's going to pi-s a LOT of people off and make tons of enemies.
What I like about BNY
As an analyst it’s pretty obvious what the company tries to hide from you. Before I left last year I was getting paid 40 hours a week to practice interviewing, suggest other analysts do the same
Get your resume out there
Everyone here should be actively interviewing, not just browsing job postings. If you're still satisfied with how you're treated, you must enjoy the abuse. The rest of us need to be aggressively looking for an exit.
Experience doesn't matter anymore
The culture has shifted dramatically in the last two years. Managers with zero experience are making decisions that make no sense. You're not allowed to question anything or suggest better ways. The culture has turned from bad to worse. Every day I'm trying to find a way out. I think many here are in the similar boat.
Folks are jumping ship!
Have been hearing chatter in the office of several people leaving. I’m not ready for what’s to come.
I don't think there was ever a time when I cared less about my job
I don't want to be fired, but I have no intention of going the extra step either. I just do what I have to and that's it. All my extra time is spent looking for something else. And to think I used to love my job.
Please be this week, please be this week
I just want to move on.
Asking to be laid off
Is it possible to just ask to be laid off? We all know it's coming, is there a way we can just be added to the top of the list? My manager says there isn't a list, I dont believe him
I'd rather enjoy my summer than worry about if I'm next every other week.
I'd be okay with being on the next list
I've been trying to leave for a while, but I always chicken out. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they made the decision for me. I have some backup to bridge me over until I find something else. I just can't do this job anymore. I've reached that breaking point where I can barely drag myself in.

In the clear?
Is GBD still being targeted or we "in the clear" for now? My anxiety is screaming to jump ship at this point.
Goodbye Firdaus :'(
As we are now officially without the CTO... is this the last moment to leave this company?
Bonus hit, time to quit!
Got the bonus, now it’s time to start looking to get out. Anyone else looking to roll out now that they got the bonus?
I'm completely indifferent
I stopped caring about this job a long time ago. At this point, the only thing I want from them is a severance check. This company isn't worth my stress, my sleep, or my health. They don't get to take that from me too.
Layoffs in Clifton, Rochester or Amityville this week?
It has been discussed by a few here that this could begin this March or early April. Post it here if it does.
Everybody wants to leave
I'm shocked at how many people I talked to are looking for something better. Heck, some of them said they're not even looking to go up in pay or benefits, they are even willing to take a pay cut to get away. When did we become a place people were so desperate to leave?
What fifteen years taught me
I got into banking fifteen years ago and thought I'd seen it all. Market swings, mergers, rounds of cuts, new regimes. Through all of it, people kept their job searches quiet. That was the rule. You don't talk about leaving until you're gone. Something's different now. People I've never spoken to are openly discussing interviews they had. Comparing application strategies. Talking about recruiters like they're old friends. The silence is gone. Everyone's looking and nobody's hiding it. That tells me something fundamental has shifted. People aren't just unhappy. They're done pretending.
I now hate Sundays
Sitting here drinking coffee, and already dreading tomorrow. Another week of pointless frustration and wondering if this is the week they cut me. I know I need to leave. Just don't know how.
The job hunt continues
Joining everyone else sending resumes into the void. Really hoping something breaks in the next month or so. This place has a terrible name now and for good reason. The way they handle people, the way they make you feel like nothing, it's disgusting. And don't get me started on how they measure success. All made up numbers that mean nothing. Half my team does nothing useful all day.
