Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Everyday I wake up and thank God I left Honeywell

I left in 2020. Been out six years. Best decision of my life. I have a 25-year professional life and I can easily say Honeywell was the worst company I have ever worked for.

I now make SUBSTANTIALLY more and have so much less stress.

It won't get better. Your work environment won't improve. No one is going to fix it for you. They don't care. Leave. They will simply hire another su---r to fill your spot.

To all those posting about being glad you left Honeywell, you haven't truly left Honeywell if you're still posting here. That means that the problem is no longer at Honeywell for you, but rather within.

Obviously you weren’t one of the ones that went to True

I was kicked out in 2020. I was a block 6 rating and not even on a PiP. I am doing fine. I work the underpass at I-17 and Thunderbird. Most people are very generous but some throw things at me. I've been getting better at dodging them.

I quit clearwater card build to work in dry cleaner. I like the people but the rats were everywhere.

I took the voluntary covid layoff in 2020. Reading this forum for (almost) the first time since then, it sounds exactly like the same BS that was going on in 2020. After being there (Sperry,HW, Allied) for 38 years, and watching it get worse and worse, I THANK GOD THAT I FINALLY LEFT!! Get out, it's hopeless there!!

Same story here, biggest career mistake of my life, luckily I quickly got back to a respectable company before losing my skills or reputation. Honeywell really does stain your resume in engineering circles nowadays, no joke! A number of people flagged me for it. I still check in with a couple of guys and hear everything is continuing as predicted. Sad demise.

In 2020 it was bad but it’s a completely new company with VK. Better in tens of ways. Honeywell has a lot of room to improve

I don't work there anymore, and I can't say it's the WORST company I've ever worked for, but it certainly is the worst large company I've ever worked for. The world of companies is vast and you never know how an unknown small company can be if you don't do your research. Even then it can be hard to tell. They can lie all they want to cover up the stench, until you get in there and smell it.

But I will say that as a long-time contractor who "has been around", it is very common for ANYONE who has worked around to say that Honeywell IS the worst company THEY'VE ever worked for.

Congratulations Mr E—s. We don’t miss you either. Still fixing the problems you started. Hope those seat cover designs are challenging.
