I hate this company. Micro managing is becoming intolerable
Luckily I have 3 years savings so can walk out and likely will

As others have said just sit tight and let them lay you off.
Better being employed than not + severance
I hate this company too. I have manager who is nice, but his manager is completely useless. How can a director who knows nothing about software development keep her job. Those kinds of things are demoralizing. Knowing we have people that are z e r o help to the company and they are getting paid a lot of money. And just as bad they protect other useless people. If we could get rid of all of them and hire a few competant people in their place our bottom line would be awesome!
@df when is this big wfr and big do you know ?
What big wfr
@bx Another strategy is to push Management/HR into offering a package while they still have budget.
Once the big WFR gathers momentum, the money pot will be gone.
@ab agreed stay and do the minimum to keep employed. When you don’t care is when you have the most power. He-l, ask for a raise, if you don’t get it who cares.
They want you to leave, force them to lay you off and just continue to do the minimum so you don’t end up on a PIP or get any hr issues.
If you find a better opportunity, then take it.
What department area of the business do you work in?
Don't walk out. Save more money. Learn new skills, use this time to build self for new fight. Transform self to more marketable.
They will humiliate you, promoting unjustified people or bringing in novices on your field, putting you on less productive tasks than you are capable of, or not rewarding you. This is typical mindset in OpenText.
Let ELT and their recently promoted pets pay for their policy and management style from corporates pocket, when they layoff.
Let them lay you off
