Stack rankings requested + Meets Expectations and below being pushed down
Message from my M5 NA squash friend is that they will be pushing lower rankings to all in reviews and employees will be stack ranked. There will be reviews across each GBUs. M5 suspects another round of cuts coming. For those with manager hate here - cuts will also be coming in for M level. The initial step per M5 was getting those with few reports to IC in FY 26. Many long term managers are understandably struggling in IC roles so cutting them on performance criteria in FY 27 will create no legal issues. Exact timeline not clear at the moment per M5 and he said he is prepping to be let go and hopes he at least lasts untill his RSUs/options vest. The RSU/options vest at M5 NA are 500K-1M - WOW - I don't think it was a lie. My Senior Developer RSU is 7.5 percent of that like WTF.
My RSUs are Underwater
Any advice?
May 29th RSU Grant?
Has anyone else’s 2026 RSU grant been awarded yet? My compensation statement said it would be on May 29th. I’ve not received any emails regarding accepting the grant.
Does it take a few days? Maybe I’m not recalling the timeline correctly.
Oracle - Grieving millionaires feeling betrayed?
Stop crying about being laid off. You have spent 20, 30, 25 years and feel betrayed. Enjoy the millions in the 401K and move on. Pathetic.
I spent 15 years at Oracle and was laid off a few years ago. I worked with many of the people who were recently let go. You are talented, highly intelligent, and among the company's top performers.
The reality is that tech companies eventually reach a point where they can no longer justify paying top dollar, top bonuses, and large RSU packages to the same employees year after year, regardless of performance. Many of you have earned substantial compensation and built successful careers.
Being laid off is never easy, but at some point it's important to move forward rather than seek sympathy. Take pride in what you've accomplished, leverage your experience, and focus on the next opportunities.
Whoa ... My RSUs were canceled after the garden leave ended
RIF employee here and my separation agreement contradicts what SNPS had Etrade do with all non-vested RSUs.
All of my 2023 and 2024 RSUs that were awarded during that period should have been fully vested right away. The 2025 RSUs should be fully vested all the ones that would have vested in the next 12 months from the terminate date.
They canceled all of them.
Calling SNPS stock services right now so everyone affected by the RIF should check their etrade account.
Advice for folks still employed at Cisco
Cisco is a pump and dump for Chuck and the board. Cisco doesn't innovate anymore, it just buys other companies, slaps the Cisco logo on it, and calls it macaroni. The ONLY way Cisco can boost the stock price is by (A) laying off employees or (B) Buying something. But it's short term ..the stock goes up for a bit , levels off and comes back down. If you have or get RSU, (more like IOU) it's a carrot on a stick. When they lay you off you lose any unvested stock. Start looking for jobs but if your in good financial shape, hold on as long as possible until your RSUs vest. The layoffs will pick up the pace, export more within 6 months. DON'T VOLUNTEER ANY AUTOMATION IDEAS! Your sc--wing your co-workers over. Make yourself as indispensable as possible by taking on as much work as possible (especially if your customer billable). If you work in Collab/WebEx ..time to change technology path...learn SDWAN or Security.
Stock based layoffs
Did we notice a pattern here in all tech layoffs ? lot of 1-3 year experienced who got joining stocks or stocks at executive range are thrown out. Same happened with Oracle and now with Meta.
We all know Oracle was faking around the hikes and promotions with just 2 words: Longevity and Stocks. Both are gone now.
Meta severance far better than what Oracle provided
- 16 weeks base salary
- 2 weeks per year worked
- 18 months of healthcare
I haven't heard anything on how they are handling RSUs. I know Cisco accelerated RSU vesting through August. Oracle seems to be the new low in employee severance.
What happens to RSUs?
Can anyone elaborate on what happens with RSU's if you are currently getting package? I'm looking for specifics (in advance of next round) so I can plan accordingly. I'm assuming you just get the 60 days on payroll to vest but hoping they may forward vest some. Retirement eligible may be a variable also.
Thanks in advance. Good luck to all.
Another $1.5 million down the drain
We have no money for you it belongs to the Execs.
DXC Technology reported that EVP, CES Venkataraman Ramanathan received an equity grant in the form of restricted stock units. The award covers 158,155 shares of common stock, granted at no cash cost per share as part of compensation.
Each RSU converts into one share of common stock when it vests. The RSUs are scheduled to vest in three equal annual installments beginning May 12, 2027, spreading the benefit over several years. After this award, Ramanathan holds a total of 244,935 shares of common stock, including unvested RSUs.
Quarterly RSU Vesting proposal
It doesn’t matter to who are already let go, but it matters a lot to who are there absorbing heavy workload and on call’s. Leadership can take some more stupid decision on AI data center expansion and betting on OpenAI. As you all know OCI is outdated and old fashioned cloud it can never win cloud race.
Oracle will again do layoffs for employees who has RSU vesting in upcoming quarter. Please create public pressure and sign petition and change RSU vesting to quarterly.
RSU and vacation payout?
Do the employees who were laid off get paid out on their vestedRSUs and vacation days? There was no reference to it in the payout document I saw
Oracle severance package is no where compared to other giant
Oracle ate all the RSU’s of laid off employees, cruel employer who didn’t pay for hard work. Oracle recruiters always push for equity compensation to inflate overall total compensation.
Will Oracle be able to recruit for new jobs given RSUs dissappear in a layoff?

Oracle needs to be held accountable for RSU strategy
https://time.com/article/2026/04/30/oracle-layoffs-ai-tech-jobs/
They su---r employees with RSUs and then just get them back in a layoff….to be given to the next group of su-kers
GFS Price Action
Ok, what is actually happening with GFS price. Is it organic in any way or is it merely resultant of including Apple in recent headlines?
Those of you involved inESPP as well as those receiving RSU should be very interested in the answer.
What are the chances I will be let go soon after giving 30 days notice?
As a VP, I am required to give 30 days notice to keep RSU and be eligible for rehire. I currently work in controls (second line of defense) but will be joining another competitor bank as an WIM client Advisor.
The last thing I need is ~30 days of no pay due to being let go by WF soon after giving my 30 days notice. What are the chances I will be let go soon after giving 30 days notice?
What a difference a year makes
At least for the 19,100 employees reduced since March 2025 according to Q1 2026 financial news release.
Congrats to those that remain on the increased value of your retained RSU and outlook.
buy a brother a beer?
Why XOM RSUs su-k compared to tech
Feeling good about the stock price? Look at tech stock returns over any period and cry. Your RSUs are pathetic compared to the wealth engine that RSUs are at tech companies.
RSU clauses for refreshment vs joining bonus - Any one has emails saying grants or signed papers ?
If you have grant emails there are opportunities to claim your RSU even if it is maturing in September. You have to walk through your clauses for potential claims and present to HR.
RSU Loss (If You Worked ≥9 Months)
Hey everyone,
Given the recent situation, I was curious (only if you’re comfortable sharing) — how much RSU value did you end up losing due to the layoffs or unvested grants?
RSUs with LR
If rumors are true with a May LR do you still receive RSUs that vest in June and July? There’s usually a 2 month period where you’re still technically an employee, right?
Sue for anything, sue for everything...
I guess this is the revenge phase of layoff grief... sue because of H1Bs, sue because of RSUs, sue because your blue... I have never seen so many posts regarding potential litigation yet no one has provided any proof. You will need proof when you get to court. Don't forget the law suit will show up in public records so win or lose it will show up in your next pre-employment background check. Are you going to sue again when your potential future employer suddenly doesn't hire you?
If you are expecting RSUs in the next 6 months, consider suing before your last day
The chance of winning is 90%, and you can find a lawyer who will take the case for 10–25% of the RSUs. It is well established that laying off employees before RSUs vesting in 6 months is illegal, not to mention immoral.
Did all Atleos RSUs/Options vest w/the Brinks purchase?
The options language for E1s and above say a “change in ownership or Control” would trigger all unvested RSUs to vest so you don’t have to wait the continuous 3 years cycles for all your options to vest.
Did that actually happen with the sale?
RSUs
So after 30 years I got the email. I had unvested RSUs that would have been worth $15K at today’s price. The thing is they were given as incentive to stay with the company so if they are not going to let you stay they should vest. Just another final way to sc--w you on the way out the door. That money isn’t going to do Larry any good where he is headed.
Appraisal time!
hike percentage
RSU refreshers
Hope you're hungry for nothing
The budgets are in. Salary increases are unimpressive. RSU allotments are a complete joke. Don't worry, though, the least inspiring CEO of all time is getting paid plenty for his tip-top layoff skills.
RSUs???
Are they going away or just delayed?
Public Service: Transfer your RSUs
SAP has remained committed to the current trajectory despite significant stock decreases and negative feedback from both customers and employees. Stock is now at $175 and forecasts, combined with SAP's stubbornness, imply that it is very unlikely to increase in the foreseeable future.
If you do not have a personal brokerage account, I strongly suggest taking the following steps:
1) Open a beginner-friendly brokerage account (Fidelity is a good one)
2) Transfer your vested SAP RSUs to your personal brokerage account
3) Sell your SAP RSUs and purchase something more sustainable
ETFs like SCHD are very dependable. SCHD pays out quarterly dividends (bonus pay that you can cash out on any time or reinvest). ETFs like SDIV aren't as dependable but pay out monthly dividends so something like SDIV is a great way to increase your passive monthly income.
The transfer can take anywhere from days to weeks.
Justification: Say you have 20 SAP RSUs at $175 USD per share. By the end of the summer, that price could sit at $125 USD meaning you lost $50 USD per share. You've lost $1,000 along with the dividends you could have earned investing elsewhere.
Now say you sell 20 SAP RSUs at $175 next week and then put half of your profits into SCHD and the other half into SDIV. You've saved $1,000 and you've earned about $113 in Dividends alone. This doesn't include increases in ETF value.
Granted, us selling our stock isn't good for the company but we have to look out for ourselves considering they're not willing to look out for us.
RSUs is vested and showed up in accounts already

Severance Details - Facts only pls
Let help each other navigate through these troubled times instead of spreading rumors or hate.
If you can please share severance facts anonymously.
1) Does Nike accelerate vesting for all unvested RSUs ? How about options ?
2) Does Nike provide existing medical coverage during the two months on payroll ?
3) After those two months does severance include subsidized cobra coverage only ?
Stock together catch 2025
Not sure if this is me or a catch of three RSU’s issued 2025 in stocks only , had to sell at market value 1-3 immediately. Please check your RSU’s. The third is a gotcha , please check and sell if you want the cash.
For me , two were available for cash, the third was issued in stocks with no notification, just sold at $50…..if you dont do anything, they play games !
HOLD ON TO YLUR RSUs!
Don't sell yet, huge announcement between NVidia/MSFT/Dell @GTC pending...
RSUs can end up _costing_ money
Given that RSUs are W2 income & taxed as such, it is very possible that an RSU could end up costing money (lowering one's net income): when It is taxed when the stock is high (at vesting) and then later value of the stock could be so low that it is less than the taxes paid originally.
And when selling it, the losses can be offset against W2 income with at most $3K/year.
Moral of the story: If the stock is high(ish) on the RSU vesting date: Sell all of it right away.
(I guess one could also opt for stock options instead of RSUs)
