because I just glanced quickly, but I think Stankey may have sent a Holiday email today where he actually didn’t berate his employees and encourage them to quit. Actually oops I deleted it.

VZ CEO from 11/17/2025 In my opinion the union is done after watching this. So start maneuvering
I think this confirmed what most of us already knew
There is no such thing as a good and caring CEO. All of them see us as nothing else but numbers they can play around with any way they want. That's our sad reality, and no new CEO or anybody else at the top is going to change that.
Where is PayPal Boy
No company wide communications from Dan since he announced the layoffs 3 weeks ago… Do we think that he’ll do a webcast or something tomorrow? Or Friday? I’d love to see what he has to say about all this.
DUI CEO Replaced
well well well, that was short lived.
our manager even put down having a DUI as one of our goals for this year in order to please leadership.
very sad news!

"There's no place like home" 👠 👠
If only the CEO wishes he could click his heels and go back, monetise the GUI, mouse, ethernet and PC and things would be a whole lot different. 👠 👠
it all makes sense now
Haskers mentor was Dave Calhoun (look it up they worked with eachother at Nielsen). You know the guy who got grilled in senate hearing because Boeing planes were falling out of the sky. Dave and the infamous Jack Welch worked with eachother at GE and people consider him to be jacks protégée. Jack Welch invented stacked ranking and cutting bottom 10% and was infamous for layoffs at GE. It all makes sense now. This dump isn’t just typical corporate but what makes it worse is the CEO is manufactured by psychos and outdated practices.
59 million is your value to Dan
As the new CEO of Verizon, Dan Schulman will receive an annual base salary of $1.5 million, in addition to substantial performance-based bonuses and stock awards that could bring his total compensation to tens of millions of dollars.
His compensation package includes:
Base Salary: $1,500,000 per year.
Short-Term Incentive Plan: He is eligible for a target bonus opportunity equal to 250% of his base salary, based on performance.
Long-Term Equity Awards: Schulman will receive various stock awards, including restricted stock units (RSUs) and performance stock units (PSUs), with a potential value of up to $59.5 million depending on the company's future performance relative to its peers.
Schulman, who previously served as the CEO of PayPal, was appointed to lead Verizon in October 2025, taking over from the ousted Hans Vestberg. His contract runs through 2027.
For more detailed information, please refer to Verizon's official SEC filings regarding executive compensation.

Verizon CEO - Recent Interview / Insight to his thinking
Want to know what’s coming (for those left after the RIF)..a little insight;
https://youtu.be/97kXYnL2PWc?si=6HeilcF-BTmQoHsm
Maybe it's all by design
You know, telling us way in advance then going completely silent, allowing us to speculate, panic, fear, then eventually fight about it. There's a LOT of psychology happening amongst us in these boards. That's not my field of education or expertise, but it's fascinating to me, all the same.
Then again, it could just be the unfortunate byproduct of a new CEO with a different narcissistic driven output from the previous guy.
New CEO
How's the new CEO?
Current Frontier CEO
What do Frontier employees have to say about Nick J?
Lesssss goooooooo!
In the words of one former CEO…Lessssss gooooooooo! Ayyyyyeeeeeee.
Walmart CEO Doug McMillon to retire, John Furner to succeed
After over a decade in the position, Walmart Inc. CEO and President Doug McMillon will retire Jan. 31.
Current Walmart U.S. President and CEO John Furner has been elected by the board of directors to succeed McMillon effective Feb. 1, according to a Friday press release. Furner has also been elected to the board effective immediately and the company plans to announce his successor before the end of fiscal year 2026.

Any hope the new CEO can pull us out of this sh-tshow?
The massive cuts and all the cheerful announcements haven’t helped the stock much.
Next CEO
Sampath or Stratton? Who do you think makes more sense and why?
Verizon layoffs coming
Layoff’s are set to start happening on November 20th, 2025 and this is all due to Verizon struggles in losing customers and rising cost. This is a message directly from new CEO. Sales representatives have now been trying to unionize and HR is going to stores to try to prevent this from happening.
Margins over membership
Said specifically by CEO yesterday during UBS call. Also indicated Centene is not trying to grow at this point (hence the title) and that they are bracing for up to 30+ percent drop in ACA membership. Medicaid will really feel it come 2017. And that’s not even considering what impact continued gains in AI will mean for employees. I hate to be negative here, but I’m not seeing much upside.
McSelfish in NJ Today
Heard Jeff’s vest was in NJ today. Who’s got the T? What did he say?
I feel like such an id--t
I thought that the new CEO could be one of the rare good guys based on his history. I was so, so wrong.
Executive pay
Our new CEO is being paid a $1.5M annual salary, with up to $50M in performance incentives.
That’s equivalent to 500+ employees making $100K.
It’s hard to listen to Joe Russo talk about surgical cost reductions when our CEO is being paid an annual salary equivalent to an entire market.
Does our CEO work 500 times harder than the average corporate employee? Why don’t individual employees receive bonuses that are potentially 33 times than their salary? Imagine an STI of $3.3M on your $100K salary.
If Verizon were serious about cost reductions, it could save tens of millions by trimming the oozing fat at the top.
Clown in Chief
This man is a buffoon.

Why in the world has he not been fired? FoMoCo will continue the downward slide. Saddening to watch.
VH vision is paying off at Oxy
There is no doubt that VH and her leadership team are doing a terrific job at Oxy. She is focused on her goal of making Oxy a great company. Her almost one decade of experience as the CEO has made Oxy a well respected and recognized name in the oil and gas industry. The 3Q results is something to be proud of. Her hard work is finally paying off. She is also working hard to pay down Oxy’s debt. Oxy is a leader in innovation and Carbon Capture. I am very proud to work for Oxy.
This place couldn’t be worse (or toxic)
Get ready for mass layoffs in towers!
The lucky ones are going in the transaction, even if it’s zayo.Better than this toxic a$$ EMT and new ceo leader that all he wants to do is use his audit team as the gestappo!
Lots of higher ups are leaving
Does anyone know what’s going on? I have a feeling there’ll be even more layoffs at the end of 2025 or early 2026. Also, what do you think of the new CEO?
Dan's Q3 call was well received here..what happened?
There was a lot of positive feedback to the CEOs blunt and honest call a few weeks ago, even with him flat out saying there would be layoffs and that his plan would be ready in 22 days...which put it right around the 20th.
What happened? Did people lose their minds or did this board suddenly get filled with dummies? I'm seeing a lot of comments from people who dont deserve any severerance.
It su-ks but buckle up and push on.
Trolls
There’s been a huge uptick in troll posts the past 48 hours.
One poster uses the word “value” a whole bunch to oddly describe an unknown Verizon business segment.
Another keeps claiming huge moves, like Sampath being let go - which hasn’t been reported in any capacity.
Just remember, at this point the only thing we really know is that layoffs are coming and our new CEO seemingly pointed to the end of November (~Nov. 20th) as to when his new plan will be placed into motion. Everything else (% riffed, impacted workgroups, potential for VSP, etc.) is all hearsay.
Tread carefully, and know there are a large number of trolls running around getting a rise out of posting intentional misinformation…some of whom likely don’t even work for Verizon.

Melvin Extends Holiday Blessings
Following up to Melvin’s email about SNAP benefits being held and people not being able to put food on the table. He has decided to give each employee a Turkey for Thanksgiving. He thought, what would Jesus do? And it was clear this was the answer. God bless us all and God bless Melvin’s generosity.
Does Dan track his mood?
Remember this gem?

When is Gail leaving?
The 3 CEOs before Gail served an average of 4 years while she has been here for double the amount of time.
Here is a history of how long the previous CEOs served at Elevance/Anthem/Wellpoint.
Gail K. Boudreaux- CEO of Anthem/Elevance since 2017 (~8 years)
Joseph R. Swedish- CEO of Anthem from 2013-2017 (4 years)
Angela F. Braly CEO of Anthem from 2007-2012 (5 years)
Larry Glasscock CEO of WellPoint from 2004-2007 (3 years)
No communication from Sampath
Haven't heard from Sampath since announce of nee CEO. Is Sampath on his way out? If so, would guess to think big changes for VCG and possibly even Sampaths baby Case Management??
CEO Transparency is important- not just for moral but a show good leadership-
Why is this new CEO- opting to be so cryptic? He has a company with highly talented employees wearing a dozen hats each. They all deserve at this point, to know what the new game plan is-
Every Verizon employee has been digging in, trying their best to keep things afloat, especially the last several years-
After every layoff- VSP/ISP talent has been lost and the work load consolidated. Yet even with all the internal struggles - we keep at it.
If Dan truly wants Verizon to succeed- he needs to be candid and up front with his employees. We can handle the hard truths- we can deal with change and limitations- but the C-suite silence is destroying the company from the top down.
Dan- be different-be frank- tell the people at Verizon what is happening and do it sooner than the Nov. 20 mark- the internal barometer is tipping negatively and once it goes too far we are looking at Sprint 2.0-
You are losing trust, confidence, and support from your workforce. We all know what is coming, but the way you are decidedly unveiling it- especially in these economic times, with all the political theatrics happening in DC, only exacerbates and compounds the situation- any other year might be fine- but this is not the current weather for it.
Come clean and do it quick- or everyone here will soon agree you’re no better than Hans……
Week two
Dan said that most of his transformative change would be unveiled in his next 22 days as CEO. Week #1 revealed him hiring his PayPal buddy. What do you think will be revealed this week? Are you as excited as Dan to be part of the transformative experience?
Dan the man
so it’s almost 1year for D Amman now as the Upstream President; how has he done so far? Nailing it and ready for the CEO or all talk and no trousers
