Used to be a great company
Somehow, over last 10 years, especially since 2019 things have gone to sh-t. Now, you may say it's her and I'd agree but I think we have major problem stemming from the weak c-level lineup (and one layer below).
AI Wins
Are you seeing any AI wins around you? It has been three and a half years since AI started appearing in every presentation deck at CDW. So, what have we actually accomplished? Where did all the energy, effort, focus, and money go? Oh, well.
Delay in earnings date...
Hmmm Maybe something is afoot. Usually by now the earnings date would of been announced. Perhaps there is something that is just taking a little more time to draft and run by the board? We have been distancing our earnings to get far away from... — read more

Management - your astroturfing is backfiring
Don't spend money on paying Indian contractors to astroturf here. Use that money instead to give American workers a raise. I am not kidding when I say every post that is clearly from management or a foreign worker is a clear sign to the American... — read more
Which unions have you reached out to?
The board is getting harder to use due to what looks like coordinated astroturfing—which may be the whole point. So, I’ve pivoted to calling union reps and coworkers directly, since I'm not based near a major office. The reception has been remarkably... — read more

How is managed services doing post-RIF?
I know there were deep cuts of talented people even younger engineers. From my time there, I recall there were already many positions that hadn’t been back filled.
The People Spamming Are Cowards & Low IQ
They don't want to hear certain opinions that differ from their own. They want to silence voices when CDW already does that in exchange for letting us keep our jobs. Go ahead and copy and paste a long winded nonsense to ratio other coworkers... — read more

Where's the outrage outside of this forum?
I see people on this board agreeing about how bad things are, but in real life I work with people who don't seem to care. Nobody seems too worried about layoffs, the secrecy, or the eroding culture. How can anyone not be angry about this?
How's everybody feeling?
It's a new week, layoffs are behind us (at least for now), but the atmosphere still feels heavy. I have a feeling productivity is down as well. I certainly still can't concentrate fully on work. You can only push people so much before it starts... — read more
Class Action?
I've read through dozens of posts going back years and CDW has a pattern of laying off older workers. I will be calling an attorney regarding my recent layoff but is there an opportunity for collective action here?
Any news on warehouse workers?
Were there any layoffs in operations/configs? Are they even ever going to hire on new contractors? I've known contractors that have been here for 2-3 years.....
It feels different this time
People seem more enraged, more passionate about cuts and mistakes that are being made. More critical of leaders. Loyalty has completely evaporated. It feels different. What do you think?
