Summarizing all the recent RTO announcements I've seen: Merch/PIM/Sourcing: 4 days a week (RTO for remote) TES: 2 days a week Store Ops: 2 days a week Any other teams? Please no negativity just posting for visibility.
Anyone ever been given a true promotion as part of a re-org?
What happens if you don’t take it? Is it a laid off situation or voluntarily quit? I’m hearing this is happening in some pockets of the organization.
Is the escorting true?
New here, and I've heard that when people get laid off, they're immediately escorted out of the building. I can't believe that's true. It would be so disrespectful.
Target is well past being able to return to what it was during its "glory" years
I have had many great years working for Target but I think that Target is well past being able to return to what it was during its "glory" years. The culture has shifted in a negative way, well-respected leaders have moved on and there is more work... — read more
Time to go.
With today's announcement of four days in office, it's time for some of us to leave. Has anyone had luck finding remote positions?
What's coming next?
I keep wondering what the next round of changes will bring. More layoffs? Reduced hours? Title eliminations? Anyone have any insight?
Coming back to Target
I left Target HQ 3 years ago and really want to come back. Does Target generally hire previous employees if they left on good terms? Do you have an advantage in the hiring process?
Time to go?
Anyone have experience negotiating your exit from a HQ role? Not getting laid off. Leaving on your own terms when you and your leader agree the work has changed enough to not fit. Open roles are scarce for my intended trajectory.
Things have changed— drastically. Anyone else notice?
Anyone else fed up? No parameters or structure to our roles so we’ve been worked to the bone for the last few years and dealt with incredibly pushy and unprofessional attitudes and leaders in the name of “candor”. Movement is tough with limited... — read more
Return to work
I’m a remote tm in properties and I’m curious if there’s been any RTO coming that would impact me

Sick
sick of this nasty working environment
Health insurance after layoffs
I'm trying to plan ahead in case the worst happens. What do people do about health insurance after they're laid off? Is there COBRA? Are there other options? I'd really like to know what to expect.
WHERE IS THE CMO
will they ever hire someone?
Too many people
We've still got too many employees. Get rid of the right ones and we'd be fine.

What are the latest RTO rumors?
Each team seems to be evaluating what to do based on role. I’m tired of waiting and want to plan my life. What rumors are you hearing?
Layoffs
How often does headquarters in BP do layoffs? Looking to join company but would like to gauge job security there. And out of curiosity, do you really need to be "highly extroverted" per the culture. Thx in advance.
MMM
How do MMM’s contributions to the Marketing org stack up? Are we driving progress in the right areas within GMS, TC, VM and ISM?
New attendance policy at target warehouses
Was wondering is target changing there attendance policy system
EVP supply chain?
Anybody got the inside scoop on why Gretchen McCarthy left? Chief Supply Chain Officer?
Anyone receive a return to HQ notice today?
Seems suspicious/retaliatory to me since there don’t seem to be any other roles being recalled this week?
Are there any departments with decent morale?
I'm kind of sick of my department, it's a constant rush to new ridiculous deadlines every day all with the threat of being offshored, it's exhausting
Anyone mind sharing their experience being placed on a PIP?
You don't have to share personal details that would compromise your identity but after being placed on one myself, and deciding to quit soon after; I always felt it was unwarranted, unexpected, and retaliatory (but not enough to form a fuss over it... — read more

Cara Sylvester anyone?
Thoughts on what she’s done for the biz?
I don’t recognize this place anymore.
L7s, L8s, and L9s have forgone years of experience and nuanced knowledge that their teams’ possess in favor of having their egos stroked by fluff words from a machine that placates whoever is prompting it. Many people who have been on businesses... — read more

Anyone else noticing an uptick of people leaving?
I’m seeing an increase in LinkedIn posts of people leaving within the last week or so. Not just a couple here and there, but at least ten. Anyone hearing rumblings of anything?… just a coincidence perhaps?
Reflections on leaving target…

Show of hands
How many would actually quit over RTO? Upvote for yes, downvote for no. I'd just like to see if this really is a big deal to the majority.
HQ Culture
How would you describe the culture at HQ? I have had friends tell me it’s like high school all over again… very young, fast pace, popularity is important, being cool is needed to get ahead. What has been your experience?
The system is so weird.
I'm newer to the company and I find the on hand/back stock system completely crazy and not reliable. Then the priorities system is so weird. I think they need to figure out a better way for this.
Remote Return to Office Rumors
