That is just saying that the Emperor is not going to be required to move from New York - either explicitly or essentially by creating a requirement of excessive travel (e.g be in SF every week mon-thurs but you can go home on weekends). It has nothing to do about remote work.
Now post the part where it says “subject to change due to business need”. They also announced years ago all wfh agreements were being rescinded.
Then where does it say remote?
My offer letter stated full-time remote, but we are all at-will employees.
