Hey AML personnel, why are we letting them step all over us? Threatening to fire us if we don’t meet production. Implementing AI that doesn’t work. At the end of the day (well probably year) we will be laid off for the AI we are ultimately training. Let’s stop doing so much. We can only do what we can do!!! Layoffs are inevitable, and you know that.

How can we get the news to show what BNY had transformed into
This situation is deeply disheartening. I have not encountered a single employee here who is genuinely happy with their working conditions. What is even more concerning is the complete lack of external coverage or awareness regarding what the staff is going through.
While no job is perfect, it is demoralizing to realize that we are all unhappy, yet nothing changes. Instead, we just face increased pressure that makes us feel entirely disposable. I truly hope this workplace can organize and unionize in the future so that employees have better protections and receive a fair severance package if they are let go.
Gird your loins
It seemed like the appropriate phrase to start the week.
Or every week.
Stock up on ginger ale or the electrolyte replacement of your choice whichever keeps you hydrated and soothed under pressure/distress.
Show up for yourself most of all then you can put your head down with a clear conscience. Be present for the ones that you love.
JULY 16th LAYOFF!!!(VERY TRUE)
You heard if first, ask your leaders, everyone should be having some type of call month “towards end of the day”, check your google calender its there! This company is truly a sinking ship since starlink and the other one taking over! Verizon cannot compete anymore basically telecom is dead unless they figure out a way to get something orbiting in space fast! Everyone under pressure at work, SR managers running around WILD with no direction, work is no longer coming in, major budget cuts, everything is being handled mirco, Basking Ridge in CHAOS, tmobile exec came over as a last ditch attempt to save the company with “AI” but yet again tmobile about to outsource to india, spring rifts, summer rifts, fall rifts, holiday rifts get use to it!!..TAKE THOSE AI trainings FYI, it will be on your midyear and end of year you dont complete them trust me you will be GONE!!!
Who’s ready to start eating time (IT&V-WIM)
In IT&V, the pressure to produce is increasing. Good thing most of us came from public accounting. Time to start eating time like a pro!
Ai Slop
“Following the rollout of AI, supervisors appear to have increased pressure on work output and results. They now seem to expect near-perfect performance from a hybrid coax plant that is fundamentally imperfect.”
Manufacturing Albertsons
Anyone have any information on potentially manufacturing plant layoffs or closings coming up? I know pressure has been high lately.
Funny how things change when leadership visits
Our group runs on pressure, politics, and people watching what they say, but the second somebody higher up appears, suddenly everyone’s smiling and pretending this is a great place to work. I never understand the performance because it’s not like executives would even care how employees are actually being treated. What's the point of the theater?
Starting to think this job just isn't worth it anymore
The only thing rising around here is the pressure.
Nexus Datacenter BU dead no innovation
Managers acting like street goons in corporate clothes.
Every small thing turns into LR pressure just to force output from employees.
Data Center BU has become mad corrupt.
No transparency, no professionalism, just power trips and internal politics everywhere.
Why would Cisco do LRs when stock is ATH
For META, Oracle and MSFT it makes sense for LR as they are stuggling to get back to ATHs.
I dont expect Cisco CEO to be under any pressure from the board right now.
The funniest part about training AI?
My manager is still constantly breathing down my neck all the time. If I need to be under constant pressure and control, maybe I'm not exactly fit to train that wretched, hallucinating AI.
Mid-life crisis
Thanks to shares and bonus, my Box 5 comp went up over 50% last year. Yet, I still want to escape. wtf is wrong with me? Am I a spoiled little sh-t or what?
My CL says the job market is bad right now. I've been at Fidelity a long time and feel anxiety about my comfort zone being so narrow. Especially in light of the pending org changes. I don't have a graduate degree. I am young-ish and nearly saved $1mm nw thanks to this place. I am spending exorbitant time outside working hours to secure my financial future but the pressure is about to make me crack.
I feel like i would be totally lost if I quit or got layoff. But some days, I feel tempted to say phuket and make a scene at the office....
the company formally known as as Pure Storage….
Well, the company with the funny name N-everPure run by the man with the funny hat is in deep… all their moat of DirectFlash is in a bit of hot water, every-green is now never-green or ever greenER as in pay up more, no matter what the little paper you sing says… they either missed the rise in pricing of just lied to customer and the street about how much their DirectFlash was deflecting the pricing pressure… looks like their major price hikes is going to put all the “momentum” under lot’s of pressure… little man is going to put his chopping blades to good use… the field is getting recalibrated… yes, their going to blame AI, only this time, it’s true…
Overwhelmed
Just need to vent. My personal life has fallen apart and I’m dealing with diagnosed PTSD. I’m overwhelmed by the pressure I’m under at the office, especially being on a team responsible for responding to global emergencies. I can’t take time away from work. And it’s PDS season. Under so much pressure. Going to therapy. Doing everything I can to stay afloat. But I’m just crumbling and feel I can’t function in my managerial capacity. So much pressure.
If u work here, you probably feel it every day...
the local poeple seem to carry the place. corporate sounds useless. they point fingers and dont support anyone. that kind of rot spreads fast.
pay is mid. people are ok. i'd say this is not a healty company. it's in decline.
the offshoring happens and jobs are shipped oversas and that means jobs lost/budget cuts. more preasure. less care.
good coworkers can only hide so much. good mid managers can only do so much. if corprate is broken, everything under it gets dragged down.
How’s everyone this beautiful weekend?
Hope you had time to digest this week’s news you can use newsletter.
What can I say that would resonate with you on moves we’ve made this week on change in our policies?
Would you take PIL when we NSI you because you don’t want to be living under constant pressure that you are more NSI away from being pushed out? Or would you still try PIP.
NRE coasters, what are you thinking ? Are you finally going to focus on your main job rather than building alternative career as a “Coach”
Mr Market doesn't lie
The market has spoken. A 20% drop in 4 months signals major fundamental issues at IBM. A falling stock price will put intense pressure on management to "shore up" the company and appease shareholders.
Why is lying encouraged?
Why is it everyday we are instructed to lie about what we do? Manager and GM both tell me to Customer Exception cars in my work order reporting today and blame the customer for cars not getting spotted because we didn't have crews to pull the unit train that was blocking the industry. I question it and get told do it so they don't take "hits" on ISP numbers and that Failure to Comply is an option. So I have to lie and potentially get fired or not lie and potentially get fired.
Silos
Pepsi has moved to an extreme silo model, more so than ever. I believe this is what is really taking its toll on employees. From the front line to the directors, there is evident frustration across all levels. Not only do you have the customer pressure, but our internal pressures create a lose lose environment. This is likely by design and don’t expect things to get better any time soon for employees of Pepsi.
Green checks!! Green checks!! Retail turns customers away due to Green Checks!!
Here in Pennsylvania from the western part of the state to the east we are discouraged everyday from going into the customer accounts due to green checks. Green checks mean the customer qualifies for internet air or fiber. The focus seems to be the AIA ratio. Hitting your goals or being close to your goal doesn’t matter. What’s your ratio? They are gonna beat it over your head and make your job not fun and the customer experience cr-ppy. Between corporate retail and authorized we are just sending the customers on one big circlej--kDon’t sign in and check and scrub an account. God forbid you do what used to be our job and sign into a customers account and sell something other than Internet. Stores send customers out and about for trade ins and any other option that doesn’t cede Internet. WHAT A HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. AT&T doesn’t care about the employee, we know that, but they don’t care about the customer. Take it from me. Upper management outside of the stores encourages store managers to do all of this. The store managers are put into a horrible position. Instead of selling everyone is walking on egg shells. AT&T seems to breed the worst of the worst when it comes to Director and Associate Directors. Even some VP GM’s. These people are clueless.
This latest email tightens that collar more and more
They really want people on-site. Guess this will decide what site is next on the block.
4 days left
To be honest id welcome getting released from this pressure cooker, a truly horrible place to work
This needs to stop
Schwab people who brag about sixty hour plus weeks, I don't get it. You're not a hero. You're being used. I feel bad for you, not impressed.
Nielsen mastered it
If there was a class on destroying mental health, this place would teach it. They've got every technique down. The pressure, the uncertainty, the constant moving targets. It's impressive in a horrible way.
The method is clear
Keep cutting staff, squeeze the remaining people harder, and use fear to keep everyone in line. That's the strategy here. They're not even attempting to hide it anymore. Deadlines are tighter and tighter, expectations are higher, and there's always the unspoken warning about what happens if you push back. This is just how Wells Fargo operates these days.
Refining Seems to be an Afterthought
Go Go and company have been traveling around the country talking to investors. They’re trying very hard to sell them on how great having midstream and chemicals is. And maybe it is.
The thing is P66 is a refiner before anything else.
Refining is hardly mentioned in these talks.
Elliott must be putting pressure on the ELT.
What's up with TD PAC?
It seems like TD is really pushing contributing to TD PAC in a very aggressive way this year, far more so than in the last 20+ years since I joined. It almost feels like harassment at this point.
The weight just kind of builds up
Hard to pin down exactly why I'm drained most days. It's just this constant pressure to keep up, never feeling like you're actually ahead. I'm starting to worry this is the future, with no relief in sight.
North America's Bloodbath
Irving was heavily impacted by yesterday’s layoffs. Each team lost at least two team members.
The network side was particularly affected — including NSS, ECC, Load Balancing, DNS, Tools Team. These are core operational functions!
Each Data Center team (RUTH, GTDC, MWDC, SWDC, and 390G) also lost two team members. These teams were already lean. With this level of reduction, the remaining staff will be operating under sustained pressure, and workload sustainability is a legitimate concern.
February 2026 Retail Sales Quota
Seems very unattainable, I am in deep trouble as I am only at 18%
Where does everyone else stand?
Things at OMNISSA will get harder in 26
Plans are going to be unattainable, pressure I’ll be immense and management will turn a blind eye and expect the field to make up for their ineptitude without offering any solution. No new offerings, no new messaging, and no field support from leadership as they will just sit back and look at dashboards while complaining things aren’t working without any accountability themselves. Nightmare work environment.
This company has lost its way!
No matter who is to blame this is the greatest share destruction of a fortune 200 in the last decade. Mike and this leadership team is going to be under pressure to start showing results soon.
How much more pressure can they possibly put on us?
It gets harder every day. They’re milking our fear of losing our jobs for all it's worth. Since the last round of layoffs, the workload has far surpassed what’s left of our capacity. I watch people work themselves into the ground every day, even after we all just witnessed that none of it matters when your number is up.
T-Mobile Visa Card
Reddit user posted that T-Mobile consumer side putting a lot pressure on Mobile Expert on pushing the credit card and if you are in the bottom 25% their potential for you to be laid off. Where did the uncarrier go !!
Allegiance response to Cigna layoffs (an acquired company)
Allegiance recently integrated with Cigna’s HR structure this year. Employees were notified the layoffs would not impact them but the company faces continued pressure on expenses this year. And they are working diligently to avoid workforce reductions. Most likely pressure coming from Cigna
Honeywelll Raleigh NC RIFF
10-15 Employees last day Jan 23 2026. Blaming on poor 4th Qtr and scarce Q1 2026. Extreme pressures Q3 to pull in orders from 2026 and complete as much as possible at all cost for 2025. Worked hard to make that happen, long days and weekends. The reward was Riff. Thanks for NOTHING. Some very vital employees are being impacted. Some that hold the keys to the kingdom. Perhaps something greater happening to spin or absorb.
The guard is changing.. finally.!
With BS out, another org shake-up to cut spans and layers is unavoidable. A wave of senior exits is being politely labeled retirement, but it’s really a reset.
And while leadership churns, IDC’s forecast is inflating expectations.. numbers will spike whether execution is ready or not.
Less patience. Less cover. Bigger pressure.
The next phase won’t reward tenure.. it will expose performance.
Management is piling on pressure to force people out
It’s become rather clear what’s happening. The company is deliberately creating a hostile and miserable environment to pressure people into quitting on their own. Between impossible workloads and a culture of constant fear, people are breaking. If you’re feeling this pressure, know that it’s a tactic, and you’re not alone.
