I am so tired of it all. No joy left in life.

The only healthy approach is to accept that layoffs are just a fact of life
Make peace with the fact you could lose your job at any moment. It's less draining than the constant roller coaster. And at the end of the day, no job is worth sacrificing your health, peace, or well-being.
Your health matters more than their bottom line
Anyone who says otherwise hasn't learned that lesson the hard way yet.
Your health profile IS YOUR DATA only not your Employer's
Do NOT go to the onsite Wellness centers for Annuals or any checkups.. if you do your health profile is exposed to the employer and will impact impact your employment if it is gets to be a high risk by age.
Go to your own doctor outside..
Sleepless Nigts
Just woke up in the middle of the night. Feel aweful. Was having. Dream about fighting a bully who was kicking me in the nuts.
You can't have it both ways
All the wellness messaging in the world doesn't mean much when people are stressed about possible layoffs. Nothing says healthy workplace culture quite like anxiety, rumors, and employees wondering if they are on the next list.
How does everyone deal with the sheer exhaustion of FIS?
The fatigue is so difficult to manage. The constant shocking twists and turns. How does everyone manage?
wellness center is so offensive
all of the “It’s okay to not be okay, you’ve got a team who cares” emails…Pick a lane, either Own being a sweatshop or actually treat associates with respect and kindness.
At this point, it would not surprise me if they are creating a list of people who reach out to wellness for layoffs.
Try to enjoy your weekend
No matter what. Worrying won't change a thing next week.
Advice from someone who learned the hard way
Work your hours and go home. Take your vacation days and actually disconnect. Hit the gym. See your friends more often. Learn something new so you're not stuck here forever. And talk to real people, not just LinkedIn connections.
Anyone else's stress levels at an all time high?
I don't know if it's just me or my department. Morale is low and stress levels are maxed out. More and more duties added to an already busy day. Customers relentlessly wanting everything for free, rude, and entitled. Constant fear of being fired even if you make all of your metrics and bonus every quarter. I have worked for Wayfair for 5 years and have not one time have I ever not bonused. Trying to wrap my head around if you fall below one metric for one month you still get a ROD, but I digress.
My mental health wishes AI would just do the damn thing- or a morning layoff email.
Is the stress level climbing in all departments? I know frontline and MC has been getting beat up for months, sadly. How is everyone else holding up?
How much are you guys pumped…
…for JDI day? Do you feel like they should’ve canceled it like wellness week?
Triathlon
Seriously one very top level executive is into triathlons. That is heavy commitment. I know since am in that space. It is virtually impossible unless you are almost full-time. This is a shame that CEO is ignoring this.
May is mental health month
The continued tightening of the sc--ws at the office is the thing that is giving me anxiety. The out of nowhere lay offs and lack of control. Funny that we have a bunch of mental health resources when it’s actually choices leadership made that is causing my mental health to tank.
Laid off and relieved
I was hoping for this outcome. I don't have another job lined up, like most of us don't. I'm going to take a break, decompress, and then figure out what's next. Good luck to everyone, especially the real pros and the good people I had the pleasure of working with. My advice to everyone still at Nike is to focus on finding something else. It will not get better around here.
Good night folks! Sleep well
Tomorrow will be terrible! Wish the best for you all.
Be brave.
How could people be surprised about layoffs again! it happens every 90 days. I am getting for the next round at what was wellness week lol
Going to be he-l week; instead of wellness week lol
Life is more important. Keep your sanity.
Do not contact me after hours because there is a fire drill and do not expect me to work even one minute past quitting time. I’ll also put in very minimal effort. That’s what you get when you don’t give raises and you don’t respect employees.
Overwhelmed
Just need to vent. My personal life has fallen apart and I’m dealing with diagnosed PTSD. I’m overwhelmed by the pressure I’m under at the office, especially being on a team responsible for responding to global emergencies. I can’t take time away from work. And it’s PDS season. Under so much pressure. Going to therapy. Doing everything I can to stay afloat. But I’m just crumbling and feel I can’t function in my managerial capacity. So much pressure.
Summer Friday/Summer Wellness Days at GP?
WorldPay got an extra PTO day each summer and could do Summer Friday's and log off early. Does Global have something similar?
JPM monitoring junior bankers every keystroke, claims its for employee well-being
For the activity monitoring skeptics. Given how hard charlie fetishizes JPM, still think this concept isn't coming to Wells eventually?

Trying to turn a new leaf
I’ve been trying to get healthier this year by eating more fresh fruits and veg, fewer processed foods, and being consistently active throughout the day. I find that my legs feel better when they’re moving throughout the workday. Does the CLT office have any treadmill desks or walking pads available? My last employer had walking desks that you could book, and I have a walking pad at home. Great for those Zoom meetings where you need to focus but don’t need to talk. Get 2k steps in off camera. TIAA has always been about promoting healthy lifestyles for their employees! Hope there are walking desks I don’t know about for the 3-4 days I’m here for 9 hours at a time.
“Grateful” for your total rewards?
I just got my total rewards statement plastered with the swollen face of our “HR Chief” bragging about our “total rewards program”. PLEASE!! Pathetic base pay (not tested against market norms since 2019?), finance using merit increases to fund their expense gaps, PATHETIC medical coverage and a “wellness” program that contacted of a few off the shelf apps that do nothing.
Oh - and surprise, we haven’t had a head of total rewards for 2 years, probably because nobody in their right mind would go to work with SM.
Even amidst all the dysfunction among the ELT, I truly can’t believe that SM is still in her role given the complete lack of delivery on basics like this.
Even with her complete disconnection from the reality of her employees, one has to think Penny MUST be cringing whenever SM opens her mouth. I know everyone else is…

If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go?
Survival playlist
Tom Petty's Won't Back Down came across the radio today. If you need a small pick up for your weekend, take a listen. Anyone else listening to music that provides some inspiration? Binge suggestions? For many, it's a long weekend. If you can take a mental break from all of this do it.
Anxiety Peak
TS so stressful
Gympass Wellhub Active and Charged
If you are in the US and you get RIFed, if you added wellhub then your gympass is still active and you will be charged monthly unless you cancel. One of the great things about Oracle is that you will get no further contact from anyone at Oracle about anything (unless you have peoples numbers). I don't even think your manager is allowed to talk to you. You are cut off pretty instantly, and it is a shock.
I suggest a regular gym routine or some kind of physical activity to help you keep your sanity.

Depressed with Anxiety
I am so grateful I still have a job, but rumors are this is the first of many more layoffs to come. It's so depressing at work. I have such high anxiety now and I feel so guilty for having my job.
Try to enjoy your weekend as much as you can
Tough times are ahead. Again. I'm training myself to use every moment away from work for myself, to stop carrying it with me all the time. I can't influence what's going to happen, so I can at least try to enjoy what precious free time I have. Good luck to everyone next week. Be good to yourself.
Safe Spaces at new WHQ
Does anyone know if the new headquarters has designated safe spaces for employees to express their emotions? In my role, I frequently interact with the manufacturing team, and they can be quite abrasive. Having a safe space to cry would be incredibly helpful, as I’ve heard that the parking lot is quite far away, making my car an impractical option.
How to ask for package
My mental health has taken a nose dive by working at this company and weirdly I wasn’t included in the recent round of MIX layoffs and I actually was hoping that I would be. I’m talking to a psychiatrist about FMLA at some point for mental health and I’m wondering if anyone’s had experience with that and found that when they came back to work that they just ended up getting laid off anyway and or should I just try to gather my notes and ask for a package?
Some therapy
Well I woke up feeling uncertain about the future but then I wrote “Verizon doesn’t care about me” on a post-it and i immediately felt better. I recommend it to my colleagues. I will look at that post-it every morning now
Had just put eye drops in when the boss came and saw me with "tears" running down
Told me I could take the day off

Submitting 2 week notice - questions
How does HCSC respond to a 2 or 3 week notice? Some companies walk you out immediately and terminate on the spot. I have health and wellness days available, should I turn in a 2 or 3 week notice and use some of those days? Any other recommendations are welcome.
Seriously???
Does anyone know what all the various areas do in HR? What has the Wellness team accomplished lately???
Book club
Got email that they care so much about us and our employee feedback that they are having a book reading.
They just don't get it.
In the last Employee Survey, many of you emphasized how important it is to feel that AT&T truly cares about your health and wellbeing. We heard you—and we’re taking action.
....blah, blah, blah stuff about your work-life balance being a priority...
We’ll share a bit about our personal wellbeing journeys, preview what’s coming in the program, and introduce a book we’ll read together as an organization.
Check your Payroll
Did you also see $300 wellness spending account showed up as taxable benefit on your pay slip even though you haven't made claim for 2026?
As a matter of principle this could cause inaccurate personal tax reporting. Just the sheer of incompetence. Opened a ticket and still waiting.
Let's see if another gong show happening on April 1 with HR system transformation.
