Everyone should start looking for a job right now

Srini made it clear that a massive layoff is coming in Q1. There is no respect for any of us. I’d be willing to bet that the layoff will happen before the end of February to avoid a bonus or stock payout.

Update your resumes start looking now and go out on your terms, not theirs.

None of those senior leaders are sitting up on that stage give a flying F about any of us.

Q1 layoff means that some of you will be training the interns that will be your replacement replacements.

The new and improved forever layoff model

Expect to see the recently reported forever layoff model. This is a persistent, all year method for layoffs where they happen in artisanal small batch format to prevent investors from getting alarmed.

Large companies do the showy layoff where they announce large layoffs then hire the same or greater number with h1b or offshore. Thus keeping the same headcount to keep from alarming investors.

January layoff?

I had heard months ago that the cadence of layoffs would be October and then January. Anyone have insights on the January layoffs? Maybe a quieter trim? I imagine it will be smaller. I don’t think we are “winning” the holiday.

Bag check theory

This is a theory. They implemented this new bag check policy the same week that DM's emphasized on the weekly conference call how SM's have to be working 8-5 (no matter your store hours) while also emphasizing how they're tracking bags checks full force. I'm curious if the bag checks are actually being implemented to track what time the SM's are leaving their shifts. This would give corporate leadership the advantage to make ER easily give the OK to terminate SM's after the holiday to avoid severance for (theory) layoffs after R2R. Just a theory. What are your thoughts?

Can anyone confirm whether layoffs will drag on into Monday?

We know so little about what’s actually happening. The rumors are endless, and I’ve heard from several people that most cuts will wrap up by Friday, with a few lingering into Monday. But I honestly have no idea if that’s true.

Seriously - when is the next layoff coming?

I am miserable in my new role, the new office environment, and the new (poor) attitude that seems to come from every senior manager. I'm planning to quit, but if the next layoff isn't too far off it may be smarter for me to wait. Does anyone have reliable information as to when the next one might be?

Anyone know if financials is gearing up for layoffs?

Title says it all.

There’s some really strange restructuring that’s making very little sense. Poor customer retention this year. Internal and external auditors evaluating engineers specifically, that I’ve heard of. Lots of resources being directed to other projects/departments.

Honeywell’s “Tuesday Pattern” Strikes Again

Welp… looks like another Tuesday is about to get interesting at Honeywell.
According to some around various teams, something big is set to drop—and yes, it lines up with Honeywell’s not-so-secret tradition of choosing Tuesdays for major shake-ups. (Because apparently nothing says “good morning” like a mid-week panic.)

Insiders are whispering that layoffs could be announced as early as Tuesday morning, with multiple groups bracing for impact. No official word yet, but the timing alone is raising eyebrows—this always seems to happen on a Tuesday, doesn’t it? Especially before Christmas.

If you’re inside Honeywell, keep your calendar wide open.
If you’re watching from the outside… grab popcorn.

Layoffs at Digi

Can somebody confirm (or even better, tell me it's not true) the recent rumors about major cuts coming in January? I understand people are nervous because everybody seems to be laying off, so is there a chance that people are just panicking and speculating, and layoffs are not actually coming?
