Stop the fear mongering on this site. We were assured that “ CDAO, CTO, and P&C Tech” would have massive layoffs: nothing. We were promised, bullied if even questioned the source of Fraud and AML having massive layoffs in April/May. Well April and May have passed.

The people who used to actually be in the know and leaked to this site have clearly been laid off. Since about last year zero predictions have been accurate.

Stop posting your theories. It only ki-ls the credibility of good sources. If you need to vent go to therapy.

A toxic workplace is when you're always scared of a pay cut or getting let go. It's when your manager won't stop hovering over every little thing you do. And it's when management rewards the people who tattle on coworkers for the tiniest mistakes. Sounds familiar?

More rounds of RIFs are coming at FIS, because that’s leadership’s answer to everything. Don’t fix anything at the top, just keep eliminating positions while our stock tanks and employees live in constant fear of losing their jobs. When are the CEO, CFO and other senior leaders going to be held accountable for the absolutely abysmal state of the business?

Does the new cohort of managers know that fear-based management is not the only one in existence, and that it certainly isn't the one to result in highest productivity? I swear, the more somebody yells at me, the slower I do my job. Intentionally. These "leaders" need some lessons in people skills.

Ron needs to increase his total compensation for 2026. He's like the Freddy Krueger. Once you think you're safe and put your head down, he comes after your job. Do not sleep!

Every morning I wonder if today is the day they decide I am out. Leadership flips on people without warning and I have seen it happen too many times. The rules change weekly, nothing is written down, and I get blamed for not reading minds. I am running on empty and too scared to speak up because anyone who complains disappears. This crew has cycled through everyone multiple times since I started. They call it natural turnover but it looks much more like a sla-ghter to me.

I'm looking for some assurance of safety, probably in vain. They always just keep coming back for more.

Don’t expect engagement, cooperation, creativity. You won’t get it because you don’t believe in it. You believe in hierarchy of mediocre yes-people, micromanagement and fear tactics.

I mean, once AI gets exposed as an overhyped, expensive, hallucinating toy?

Under terms FIS is going to pay markup on existing salaries to Cognizant. The usual contract is for 6 months and 30 to 50% markup.

Around X-Mas time, 6 months contract time will be coming to an end. FIS will say bye bye to all of you.
Cognizant salaries are peanuts. The pay Senior Database Architect 120K max. In short, you will not find new project in Cognizant.
During 2026 holidays, Cognizant manager will send you a sweetly worded letter, telling you that your job is being shelved.

I joined four months ago, should I be worried about layoffs?

Results are great, but I haven't been here long enough to know if that means that layoffs are not a threat for now? Does Comcast cut people even when results are good? I'm asking because my old company sadly had layoffs even when we were achieving record profit.

Even when we're supposed to be safe, there's always that thought in the back of my mind, ever since we were completely blindsided one time. I just want to be able to focus on my work once again without stressing and worrying, but I don't see it happening any time soon.

Whatever happens, don't blame yourselves. This isn't about you. It's about greed and poor leadership.

Some Senior Managers were laid off today.

They are cutting deep, one deserved to go.

No point in investing in this place. Look at who they cut - nobody is safe, and hard work clearly doesn't matter.

If we're moving into a phase of quiet, ongoing cuts, that's going to be even more stressful. I can't live every day wondering when the axe drops.

My partner literally just started at Citi as part of the wealth division within the past few weeks. As they were getting their badges and other new hire stuff, others were turning in theirs due to being laid off. Not the most re-assuring for people you just hired lmao.

Many got RIF notice today. I hope you land in a better place. It’s scary watching people with same job title disappear but nothing worse than experiencing it.

Sadly this is true. This place is making more layoffs than you can blink. No region will be spared. This is not fake trust me I’m involved in the discussions.

This treatment of depression staff has happened under Ryan's watch, and Rajat Taneja is complicit. It was never like this with Al... remember the lockdown tears and family-vibe he instilled? Now a climate of fear.

Question is, is it purely down to Ryan (being a salesman, not CEO material), the shareholders, Rajat... or would this have happened under Al but he saw it coming?

I just want this round to be over so I can have some peace of mind, even if only for a couple of weeks. I'm terrified of losing my job. It's a bad period in life, too many obligations and reasons to stress. Losing my job would probably bring me to my knees. I hate that it's come to this, but I can't change it right now.

Made it through this round, but it doesn't feel like winning. This job is just about being afraid to lose it now. Nothing else drives me anymore.

Details are sketchy at best. But it seems like multiple teams in Palo Alto have been ask to put together a "prove their worth" presentation. My direct manager is as lost as I am, but it seems to have come down from above and involves the use of AI. My feeling is this is the start of infomraton probing, Hock has also been meeting with some directors. Something dosen't feel right, but I hate to jump to conclusions. Anyone else having this BS happen or is it isolated?

If there were multiple people impacted in the group there is a high probability that more will be targeted in August. We lost three good members and more than likely this group and will be impacted soon. MIGs.

I think about all the talented people who have left this place not through layoffs but on their own. So many of them left because of ego clashes or small misunderstandings that could have been resolved if anyone had just acted like an adult. Treating people with respect works so much better than ruling through fear. EJ never figured that out.

I've survived eight layoffs over the years, but I've got a bad feeling about the next one. Judging by my manager's behavior that suddenly shifted completely, I think my streak is about to end. I was never as worried about cuts as I am right now.

Anyone else notice the fear based culture here? It’s like no matter how great you’re doing, you always feel afraid? Upper leadership uses intimidation and publicly humiliates people on calls for performance. It’s strange to me. Maybe it’s normal but it always feels nerve racking.

Metrics, work flow, policies, changes, fear tactics. Nothing is adding up. I am starting to see this Industry in the same light as a consumer.
