Do you have any update of layoffs in Poland? Is EMEA already done or still in progress?

As someone in EMEA in professional services (cyber security consulting) at Verizon, we're hearing a lot regarding the potential for certain business units to be sold off to BT to boost their capabilities. What you have you guys heard? In EMEA it was looking like a collective dismissal first, but now it's looking more and more likely that a sell off will take place instead.

What’s the latest buzz about the apparent mass SC exodus in EMEA?

Is this another round of layoffs, or is it simply frustration finally boiling over under the always-smiling RL? Rumor has it that a few feathers were ruffled during a recent partner roadshow in India, along with some interesting interactions involving colleagues along the way.

What’s particularly intriguing is that there don’t seem to be many people left to let go anyway. Most have either already left or are quietly waiting for a generous severance package so they can move on happily.

At this point, it feels less like a workforce strategy and more like a waiting game for employees and a losing game for Appian.

Does anyone know what BNY provide as way of a reference to a new employer, specifically in EMEA.

Nothing to hide just curious if they go any further than 'time served'.

Only a few are retained who were on B5.

I'm sick of the weekly activity sync bs. Having to log fake calls because my customers don't want to speak on the phone. It's exhausting. I have 30 large customers and if I had to properly follow the metric I'd be constantly calling them to talk about what we don't have or can't sell. Right now they want to know how much will it cost today and how fast can I get it. Is it the same in EMEA & APJ or just mothership bs???

There has been nothing about layoffs in the UK yet, and I have heard nothing on the grapevine about anything in EMEA. It has NOT started.

Don't get me wrong, I want it to start, and I want to be on the list. Happy to take some cash and run.

most countries in EMEA need a month AT THE VERY LEAST before any sort of decisions on headcount can be made. considering that we got informed of consultations with works councils starting just LAST WEEK that doesn't complete the timeframe. stop spreading lies and misinformation and clearly LABEL YOUR POSTS (US / EMEA).

At this point I've heard fifty different versions about what's coming.

Things were kept under wraps for a while but now your Band 5 leader now knows what’s going down…they have to choose who is going to be riffed…who will sink or swim. Don’t trust a single thing they say…

So I was officially RIF ( in EMEA) about 2 weeks ago.
My direct manager; who I used to speak to maybe Three times a week has not even called or messaged. I did speak to him the day before I was RIF, he talked about plans and work related travel 3 months out.. wtf…

Is anyone able to clarify what to expect on the 26th. Is this just Europe, Middle East, Asia (EMEA) or is this also in the states? Is it an offer of a VSP or a RIF? The posts have been vague.

Sanjiv just hosted an EMEA Town Hall and announced significant reduction in EMEA workforce. Looks like GNT and Security will be hit hard, possibly including divestiture & partnering with other companies, but no doubt all functions and countries within region will be hit. Hearing rumours of 20-30%.
Now we have to wait in torturous silence until the EWC Works Council consultation process begins and ends. No doubt UK will be hit the hardest due to the significant hurdles in European law making it more expensive to get rid of people there...

For those of us who stayed on to the end of the call whilst the Leadership team didnt realise they were still live, the cat is out of the bag, as they put it!

Guys… those rumors everyone’s been whispering about? They’re actually happening. Tomorrow there’s an emergency all-hands at 10 UK time where they’re dropping the news on how the reorg is smashing EMEA. Brace yourselves.

Will be communicated through unions and worker councils depending on local laws. That's what I heard but do not know how the numbers break down.

I sure hope it isn't true, because the job market where I am is shrinking rapidly.

400+ group call today beginning consultancy process in UK. Psychopathic exec on the call getting giddy about the future and innovations etc.

So we were told in January there would be salary indexation in February, however still no sign of it, anyone got any info?
