I think people are surprised it is taking this long and in that they cannot just sit on announcements and do nothing otherwise the market will continue to react badly to a stalling and slow moving behemoth with a new leadership team . Probably they are making smaller cuts behind the scenes we don't know about and waiting for the business realignment, the 3 pillars which no doubt the workforce will be aligned too. I can only say it is very quiet these days seems like people are waiting.
The word is that the the announcement/decision is going to be made sooner than expected. Good luck to you all.
@OP I am definitely not in no hurry to get laid off...but this is torture. How much longer?
