There’s speculation surrounding Mike‘s future at Blackbaud as the stock price tanks.

It‘s very possible an announcement is made on his future Autumn 2026, with an eventual departure in 2027, until a replacement is found.

Our team is coming up with a $699 computer to compete with the Apple $599 computer. If we’re a market leader, why didn’t we come up with the not a Chromebook device before Apple. The Apple will be better built and last a student all through high school. And Apple’s support bot is better than ours. I know, because I’ve used both.

It shows we no longer lead the PC market, we follow the trends. A sale or spinoff can’t be far off.

Disclosure: Like others said - mine is pure speculation. I own some Dell stock but not enough to get rich and retire yet. I’m just turning sc--w drivers and plugging in cables everyday.

What were these secret foscussions that caused a clash between a board member and AM? The discussions have been described as a “deal” and “sensitive negotiations” and “essential discussions”. I recently heard from a friend at AMD that layoffs are coming at amd , although there’s no official announcement yet.

Does anyone know if this is just speculation, or are silent layoffs already taking place?

Chime in below. Also, I would not be surprised if someone was to set up a prediction market on Kalshi or PolyMarket for things like this. But then, HR or Management would have an upper hand and would always win (just like they do in the real life but that's a separate topic). So, this thread is my prediction market.

It might happen... but people are jumping from accounting math to headcount certainty. They said fewer than 4,000 jobs in Q4. They also said notifications start 5-14 and continue globally based on local laws and regulations. OK, makes sense - it su-ks but it makes sense... That alone explains why some costs roll into FY27.

The remaining restructuring charge does not automatically mean another 4K or 5K people in Aug.... It can include severance paid later, benefits, legal and administrative costs, country-specific consultation periods, delayed effective dates, and other restructuring expenses.

Could there be mre cuts later? Sure. This's Cisco afterall. But that is different from saying Aug is confirmed...

Unless someone has an actual internal list, mgr confirmation, country schedule, or filing that says another wave is planned for Aug, the aug number is still speculation... people should stop treating it like a confirmed fact just because the 1B charge is split across Qs.

Alot of major investors are buying up Fiserv stock. Blackrock just increased their holding position.

Any chance the last two CEO’s were planted by the investors? They both run this company like they want to bleed it out and then sell it to someone who may have pushed for them to get to the top.

The way everything was announced before the whole thing started made it sound like people would be getting cut nonstop for months. That so far hasn't been the case. I’m definitely not complaining, I’m just surprised and wondering if something changed behind the scenes.

And who would have the means and motive?

I have a feeling the real thing is yet to take place.

The article link posted here says a couple of hundred, but other comments here say up to 4,000. Wow! That’s quite a spread. I would think if it’s really in the thousands the company would have to mention it to the media?

There’s no way fidelity will layoff a significant portion of the staff. Abby doesn’t want to let her friends go.

The tech teams might be impacted, but with no vbo, how likely is it that there will be layoffs.
