Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

IFP GONE, NO WORK, NOW WHAT?

Im a new manager and have had no support since my onboarding. No training and no substantial time with my manager. With the exit of IFP, a chunk of my teams workload is gone.

I have no work during my day and thats not an exaggeration. I ask regularly for work and never receive any.

Has anyone experienced this? Is this a good indicator that job eliminations are on the way?

It’s been the same here over in the Evicore department. There are no clear instructions or protocols. Managers are not trained properly so asking them for assistance is not as “reliable” as Cigna pushes it to me. Everyone seems to just be doing there on things, floating trying to get by. Nobody wants to talk about what’s coming ahead, just business as normal like we all aren’t about to lose our income in the upcoming months. Just pathetic in my opinion

Start looking, hopefully with a JE you get a severance. This company has zero strategy and leadership is awful, they are great at moving their lips, that's about all. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. What did they do or break at Capital One for them all to be here now? For the Ops Enablement teams, the writing is on the wall. They let go of the good people already, those who actually cared and had real experience. They just want yes people now to tow the line until we are all JE'd.
