Update on the NetDocuments Acquisition of eDOCS

As of December 1, eDOCS will be officially, legally, and technically integrated into NetDocuments. All current employees will transition to contractor status under a six-month probationary period.
In General, contractor roles don't come with benefits such as 401(k), RRSP, or health coverage; dental, vision, because they are considered self-employed.

This presents significant challenges—particularly for U.S.-based employees, who rely heavily on employer-sponsored healthcare. Canadian employees may be somewhat less affected, though ongoing issues with the public healthcare system and lack of private coverage options still pose concerns.

PTO Disparity

Just when youthink HCSC can’t go any lower it does!! 😱😱😱 if you are mid professional and have been at HCSC under five years and live in Illinois good for you, you get three extra days a year. But for those that live in Texas and other states, you don’t!! I guess HCSC couldn’t level up the field of PTO to make it right.

What this place does best

They have mastered the art of rewarding cuts instead of effort. Executives keep cashing in while employees lose benefits and customers lose patience. Every quarter it’s the same flashy story for investors while the rest of us deal with the fallout. It’s hard to see where any real future fits into that plan.

ELV to UST experience so far…

Terrible…
Less benefits…
Less PTOs…
Sweat shoppish management …
Job cuts…
No diversity and that means not a single American in any layer above me or even around me…

Ohh wait that was the similar in ELV IT too.

IT had layers and layers are Indians. Several of them totally not competent by far. Speak English in a weird way with disregard and disrespect to grammar, pronunciation and several times etiquettes. And worst they keep hiring Indians ONLY. How? They bring cheap -ss Indians as contractors and then convert them. Companies like UST are partners in that crime.

They don’t even want to engage with white Americans nor do they want you around. They keep talking to each other in their mambo jambo local language and keep warming smelly food in the kitchen.

yeah damn it, this happening in USA.. not in Bangaladore.

Benefit Cuts !!

We called it on this board several months ago due to inside sources. More benefit cuts announced today. Healthcare and life insurance changes will save about $2m. The increase in premium hits lower wage worker hardest. There should be a sliding scale based on percentages and income level. Premium rise is a regressive tax. Anthem is rolling out these Platinum BS Providers--probably the ones getting the biggest kickbacks in a ponzi like scheme. CHRO and Data Czar not in attendance at the price hike inflation meeting today.

Once You Get Out of There...You Will Feel Liberated

New job, drink coffee when I want....work from home, when I want.. Big salary bump.
Big benefits bump. Big 401k contribution bump. No dysfunctional coworkers or management to deal with. I actually like my job. Treated with respect and dignity, a professional, not a factory worker....... there is a new life out there.......go get yours. Its waiting for you!....

Everyone from Lowe’s stores should

Go to their local union and ask to vote in a union. Each store has to get 80% yea votes to vote a union into the store. Then they negotiate on behalf of the membership and their complaints. Better health care better time off. Each store should employe so many full times and so many part times. Include part time in the contract.

New PTO policy is a slap in the face for that live in Texas.

New PTO changes -

Most employees will not see any changes to their PTO accrual minimums or PSWD carryover maximums, and no employee will have fewer PTO or PSWD as a result of this change.

· Illinois- and Nevada-based employees will have higher minimum PTO accruals (from 80 hours minimum to 104), while employees in California, Colorado, and Montana will have higher minimum PTO accruals (from 80 hours to 104) and higher PTO carryover maximums (up to 216 hours).

So a big - 🖕🖕🖕🖕 we don’t think you’re worthy Texas folks.

Amazing email on benefits improvement

Having a hard time swallowing this. Honeywell actually is planning to pick up the tab for medical insurance premiums to the tune of 40%.

It reads as if the decision was taken to voluntarily give employees money. Someone please find the cash. It seems too good to be true!

Hard To Believe

According to RL: Between 2022 and present, he took his eyes off the ball and our expenses increased by $2/bbl, due to the fact we hired 25% more people (in that amount of time)…

Could our cost increase be due to more than just over staffing? Maybe some cost overruns on projects (eg NextGen)? And will those project cost overruns end after this huge layoff? Or are we destined to do another round of layoffs in 2026?

I think, after the huge layoff is over, you’re gonna see a lot of other, small changes that will make it “not a fun place to work”. For example, they may begin charging a monthly fee for the gym. Insurance premiums will increase significantly. People will be asked to work 10+ hours of “casual” overtime, etc. You’ve already seen examples of this with PTO vs sick leave, and the “accrued vacation” policy changes.

I feel for the survivors because the sc--ws will tighten, and there won’t be many other job openings in the industry - you’ll be a captive audience, so to speak.

Sadly I think COP’s gonna be a different place to work than we’re used to.

401K Catchup contributions going away in 2026

I guess I was a sleep at the wheel and misssed this announcement. Did anyone hear from Oxy about the new rules for the catchup portion of our 401K. It looks like you might still be able to add to a Roth, but I used the pre-tax catachup for years now since I am older and could use it. I guess the govt needs more upfront tax dollars. This is an extra 2K a year I will be paying in taxes. Glad I am retiring in 2026.

What a real company offers its employees

Got an offer today after several months off. Couldn't believe what I was seeing. The company offers profit sharing and an employee stock options plan. Sounds like a company that cares about its employees. Not sure why Dell couldn't...or better yet, wouldn't do this for its employees. There are better alternatives out there.

State Farm is a soulless, miserable sh-t hole to just to survive

Finished another week some how. State Farm is just a horrible excuse for an employer and represents all that is wrong with corporate America. For my first 15 years at State Farm I can honestly say I looked forward to going to work just about every single day. These last 10 years have been an absolute clown show. I thought it was bad but it is accelerating at an alarming rate. Everything they do sets you up to fail and ultimately sc--ws the customer over. I'm embarrassed most days to go into work. If we didn't have soo much money State Farm would be out of business within the decade. Please let it be known that 2026 will be the year of a huge exodus (voluntarily and involuntarily) for most people at State Farm. They are trying to get as many people to quit over stress leave. Horrible changes are coming at every turn from the pension, time off, health care benefits, return to work mandates and more unadulterated pressure. They are too cowardly to treat people appropriately and will just continue to destroy lives and careers. There is a special place in h-ll for these people making these decisions. Sold their souls to the devil. Run away as fast as you can, it gets worse!

Finally got the paperwork signed...

After 3 weeks, the separation agreement is finally done. Dell is covering 2 months of COBRA insurance (they cut us off a full week BEFORE he was laid off).

How long did it take for y'all to get health insurance reinstated? We're in OKC and I've been without medication for a month now. It's way too expensive to pay out of pocket (thousands). I'm afraid it'll be too late to use it by the time they reinstate & backdate it.

Benefits after layoff question

My husband signed his severance paperwork yesterday (after waiting for 3 weeks for them to get it to him) and they agreed to cover 2 months of COBRA.

How long did it take for them to reinstate the coverage after you signed the paperwork? They canceled ours a full week BEFORE he was laid off. (They claim they are "looking into it") But I haven't been able to refill medications ($$$$$) or go to appointments for almost a month now. I fear they will reinstate it too late for us to be able to use it - with the backdating.

New Job Experience

For 10 months I’ve been working for a new company, here is a summary of my experience.

Managers are nice, especially in snr exec positions, humble too.

DXC is antiquated - the Tech in the real world is far more up to real world standards

The company I work for has proper salaries for employees, £70k for a PM Lead 4 days a week

Better staff benefits package, similar to perks at work but better discount %

Company paid meals

Manager said casually on a day we were going to be on site that we will go for a meal, I have the company credit card. And it’s not Nando’s!

Company paid Xmas meals (menu ordering)

Company paid fitness classes after work and lunch hour

Company paid proper well being session with people on site

Any training request is approved

Free EV charging on site

Barely any town hall meetings

If someone leaves or retires - the whole company gets an email with a thanks

No expectation to work stupid hours

They are genuinely shocked at my strong work ethic, DXC put you in a constant state of fear, and we have to work damn hard to not show on the redundancy radar, they think I work very hard and super productive.

If you’re under 60, you are wasting your years away here. Apply for jobs, and if you get an opportunity don’t look back.

BAE staff rejecting annual over 3% rise, most people in DXC haven’t had 3% in 10 years. Let that sink in.

Working Spouse/Partner Surcharge

Please make sure you read the details of the 2026 medical plan benefits. Cigna is adding a $55.38 per pay period surcharge if your spouse is eligible for insurance through their employer.

They are promoting a capped increase of no more than 5% but that does not take into account the spousal surcharge.
