RULE of 80/90

SF needs to change the retirement to the rule of 80 or 90 - age plus years of service = full retirement and get those older employees off the books. We have a ton of employees that wfh that lack 5 to 10 years and they will hang on for the retirement. If they changed this they probably wouldn't need the exit package.

CSS Brokerage RIF

Has anyone heard if CSS in brokerage is being impacted? If so, do you know what sites? I’d like to think not as they just told us RTO is coming and I don’t see how an immediate RIF makes sense when it’s clear they want to see people quit rather than RTO. It’s also a client facing inbound role for managed accounts. But, with all the changes the last couple years aimed at attrition and seemingly preparing for this moment, who knows…

Side question, if someone is laid off and has unvested shares, do they pay those out to any degree?

Citi PIP, Severance?

Hello, so I was Pipped beginning of march from a bad performance review, (4/4/4/3)
And it took them till march to do so. Then I was told they don’t have a notice period for how long

Right now I’m on medical leave, I’m thinking of asking for a separation package? Is this a good move? I plan on framing it very professionally and want to know if since I got such a poor review and a PIP if severance is off the table?

I’m based in Tampa and a AVP

Why I'm begging to be cut

I have been here eleven years and I used to really care about Cisco. I thought it was special. But somewhere along the way, probably around year eight, I just lost it. Now all I want is out. The problem is I can't just quit because I have a mortgage and a kid who is starting college in two years, so I need some kind of package to bridge the gap while I figure out my next move. Every single time there is a rumor about layoffs, I let myself get hopeful. No luck so far, though.

Can someone please tell us when there will be a union associate field Eisp offered

I mean really

Xerox Severance Pay

Posting this info because I didn't see a definite answer on how much severance pay we will get if let go during the layoffs. My boss just told me that when the last layoff happened , and my coworker was let go from our department , he received TWO weeks pay for severance. He was with Xerox for about a year and a half to two years. SMH . Wishing everybody luck job hunting and getting the he-l out if this company !

Give us an out!

I'm so done with this Company, I'm in a position they won't layoff but am so done with all the new management stupid decisions, It didn't work 20 years ago, didn't work 10 years ago, didn't work 5 years ago, but hey I'm a new guy and I think it will work. Yeah just give me a package hire someone with less experience than our management team and feed them the slop.

Over hiring a Contributor to Layoffs

As a former CDW engineer my observation was that the number of engineers far exceeded the amount of available projects. While I worked with some smart engineers, a majority did not have skills comparable to their pay grade. Too many "that's not my niche" excuses for 6 figure salaries IMO.

The layoffs that are happening now is a forced "personnel correction" due to leadership not understanding the needs of the business.
