On January 15, Baxter laid off about 100 people in the care communications division which focuses on nurse call, RTS, and wireless phones

All of the consultants, 9 people and many of them long-term, were laid off in mid July. One person has hired on full-time as an employee since then per LinkedIn and a few seem to still be picking up a few hours. The work was moved to India.

First furloughed in No 2024 to Jan 2025, then extended to March.... now they officially laid me off. What a sh-t-show company!!

The entire respiratory salesforce was let go in the HST division (a former Hillrom team) and a Baxter plant in Alton, Mass was closed - impacting 59 people.

No work life balance at Baxter. Prepare to work non stop and pull 12 hour days constantly. Very little time to take any PTO if you have it and if you do be prepared to be called for work on vacation and holidays .

I think we will be fine

Do not worry too much, I am one of those who is always positive, always optimistic - things will pan out good and we will not have layoffs here in Deerfield.

Let's hope this sh-- show if a company goes belly up! Seen too much! Too many good people gone; while others stay. Pay inequality; age discrimination, it's all happening!!!
