I’m seeing a culture of if you are a manager who is not interested in college football, other selected store managers, RVP’S and GvPs are not interested in talking to you. Has anyone else noticed this? # Bizarre

Toxic habits spreading fast
In the past few years, I've worked with a few people who came over from another big oil company, and they brought that same cutthroat attitude with them. As a result, in my area, being aggressive gets you promoted faster than being good at your job. Teamwork is a foregone idea no one really believes in anymore.
My small team is in a "too good to be true" situation
I don’t want to jinx it, but we’re paid well, have flexible hours, the work is interesting, and our manager, who’s genuinely great and has no reason to lie, keeps telling us we’re safe. Still, something about how perfect it all seems makes me uneasy. I’ve read too many stories of people who thought everything was great, only to have the rug yanked out from under them. Should I worry or am I being an id--t?
Why should I keep busting my back when half my team can’t even pull their weight?
It’s exhausting watching people coast while the rest of us scramble to get things done. Every project ends up feeling like a fight, not just against the actual work, but against all the nonsense that comes with covering for others. And then to see them survive a layoff round after a layoffs round? No. Just, no.
Was a Region Employee
The region jobs do not exist any more. It was a wonderful time to work for Allstate. A team environment. You went to work every morning knowing you were working toward something. If you had the right leadership. We did. We drove growth for the company. Those who were part of that time appreciate the experience. So, there was a time that working for Allstate was something to be proud of and fun. It did happen. New times now. It still can be rewarding. Carry on.
New Hire Here
I joined the company and have loved every moment so far. Thanks to my new team for being wonderfully great.
I do sit next to a negative nanny who should be fired though. She sounds as nasty and made as most of you. Can you angry birds go dive into the ocean and stay?
Being ignored and ghosted all the time
It’s so difficult to communicate with each other. People ignore emails, Teams, ghost you in a middle of a Sev1 situation and what’s best is that there are zero consequences. And do I blame them? No. I just su-k it up. Because how can I? At least I have a job. For now…
Team culture and leadership problems
Team culture is not good whatsoever and leadership is not involved at all, they say they are but they are not, and at the same time opportunities are hard to come by which is hurting everybody. This has been going on for a long time and nothing is changing which people keep pointing out but it just keeps getting worse. Leadership says they care but they don’t and the whole place is going nowhere because of it.
Ferrero dedicated team
Worked for Crossmark then we were acquired by Acosta and as soon as Ferreros fiscal year was up we all had a mandatory conference call on August 1st and we were all laid off. Acosta did state we were able to apply for other positions in the company but just like nothing we all were dropped. The kicker was that I was actually on a short term medical leave and due to the fact I was only on week 2 I did not receive said benefits and then was let go.
LMFAO. As a laid off former "office person", I concur. But it's not exactly a secret that most OIs/RIRs submitted by office staff are either lame things related to breakroom coffee machines, dumb sh– their kids do at home, observations of other motorists who drive like mental patients, or works of pure fiction made up to keep the target off one's back. But I did what had to be done so the top of the HSE totem pole got their PIP. #teamwork
