Teams Calls Between Dallas and the Field

Why is it that every Teams meeting with the mothership has 9 people in Dallas who weren't on the original invite? I mean there are 4 on the invite and 13 show up.

They have no idea what's going on, they don't need to be there, and they ki-l the meeting result by asking ridiculously stupid questions. It's like the kid on the PeeWee football or Little League team that never got into the game jumping into a mud puddle to look like they played.

And yes, there ARE stupid questions.

Or the manager that wants to meet you to test sumtin on site, then when you are there they are setting there on an all important conference call.
And I picked up my test set and left.

And the two meetings to prep for the real meeting with 15 people on each of the calls with one doing the work.

Lets not forget they hand out Lead, Principal, and AD positions to TDP's just cause they graduated, but us long term experienced employees have to walk on water to prove we deserve progression.

by asking ridiculously stupid questions

I've been on so many calls that I have to shake my head and the totally stupid questions some of our level 5's and up ask. Apparently none have any clue that AT&T runs a pretty large internet and phone network. It's no suprise that we are now in 3rd place.

Do yourself a favor and don't look them up in webphone or you will discover they make a lot more money than you do. Ignorant sycophants that elevate themselves through teams call participation describes most of the leadership team and they like to load up their staffs with people like themselves.

@a1
In fact I have!

I have asked people to introduce themselves. They're there because they're looking busy.
