Anyone else? 4 hours in office and 4 at home

I am going to take my chance and continue 4 hours in office and 4 hours at home to.

Anyone else taking that risk that 4 hours won’t count or just me?

I say f it. Going to risk it all. 8 hours in office sitting by myself makes no sense

I think depending on biz line working 4hrs in office, 2nd doing sales visit or marketing and finishing at home shouldn’t be an issue as long as you are producing. Regardless not changing what I’ve been doing and if they canned me so be it this shithole has been sinking the past 5years and clearly not going to get any better only worse get out while you can!

@ce Speaking of Europe, the EU powers that be told the USB Head of HR to go pound sand. They cannot track IPs for in-office compliance in the EU. They are exempt from this BS and are sticking to badge swipes.

I'm at the point where I've concluded that if I let my employer treat me like this then I'm no better than a slave. You are literally risking your life in traffic every day you drive to the office, especially with all the foreigners on the roads now it's even more dangerous. And taking a bet were there's a non-zero chance I die in traffic for a company that told us, "merit increases are not cost of living adjustments" is just not a good trade.

I know the brainwashed boomers and out of touch execs who hump goojans leg will say, "su-k it up that's life" but I just can't live licking the boot like that. I know most people are just sheep but there needs to be at least some of us willing to push back.

My team is on the west coast and I meet with clients 3 -4 pm pacific time.
No problem wfh late on the east coast, now its impossible with the commute.
Company is clueless how this hurts productivity.

You'll get away with it for now. But I guarantee that in a few months, they will retroactively calculate compliance using some minimum threshold number of hours "in office" in order for that day to count. Will it be 8 hours? 6 hours? Who the he-l knows. They won't tell us until after the re-calc is done and those taking the risk get knocked out of compliance again. Just in time for performance reviews! So be careful everyone. The MC (especially GK herself) is not to be trusted.

On my side of the floor, today, there was 4 people out of 20 cubicle space.

No one talk to each other as we all work in different departments.

I left after 3 hours in office and worked the other 5 hours at home to.
