Why are so many reps in HE missing goal this year? A good organization has 70 to 80% hit goal. It appears HE will be below 50%! Is it poor performance by the reps? I'm new here, just trying to make sense of all this.

Because too many reps sit at home answering emails and aren’t great sales people. Half the reps probably only did a few demos all year.
I can tell you. Goals created out of a $$ number they want not what is realistic for the market, environment, politics, funding, etc. The teams are saddled with goals they know they can’t meet. It’s demoralizing.
The goal is unrealistic
- Bad goal setting
- Dying business
- Cr-p product
