Someone contacted some organization, and Nick posted to this board with his contact information. Did anything ever come of that?
How is MF Housing Capital? Just got an offer to work on the off balance sheet side of the biz.
How is it to work in this group? How is career advancement? thanks. Also, is 8 hours in office the actual expectation?
Badge Swipes
Does anyone know whether badge swipes are actually being tracked and if they are to what extent? I’m not trying to call anyone out, and I certainly won’t be naming names, but it’s getting increasingly difficult to justify coming into the office five... — read more
New Salary Ranges
Anyone else notice the new pay bands are lower than the old target ranges? Wild that this got sold as “better for employees.” Everyone getting promoted (lol) is starting lower than the old structure would have put them, and new folks won’t know the... — read more
Let’s hear those RTO testimonials! Has anyone else had to avoid human fe--s while walking to their building?
Yes, you read that right. Twice now I’ve had to watch where I walk because someone decided to de-----e in public. I never experienced that while remote. Before I forget did anyone see the pervert exec on the home page this week. Gosh it’s going to be... — read more
In meetings all day
All on my laptop. But hey, good thing I'm at the office because...why exactly?
You’re special? NOT!
Why is it that more than half the employees on my floor come in for 2 hours then leave? Do you think Executives don’t know you’re trying to manipulate the data they are collecting for RTO? I’d be careful. It’s not worth it to lose your job over... — read more

Why managers hate remote work:
They hate their wives Work is their identity They hate their families They love to gossip Control Found this on Twitter, and it looks really appropriate. Those are truly the only reasons I can think of why somebody would be so... — read more

Managers, give it to us straight
Any word on this being reverted? Do they actually care about our attendance? What the heck is going on and why wont they talk to us.

Amid the whole RTO mess and morale being as low as I can remember, we are named one of the best companies for culture in the country. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. We're 19th, in case you were... — read more

Schedule watching isn't leadership
Pre-WFH, I've had two managers who obsessed over start times and break lengths. Neither of them actually knew how to lead. They just watched the clock because it was easier than doing their real jobs. It never improved productivity, but it worked for... — read more
Been quiet
I wish I knew who I could rant to but I'm way too careful about sharing my work-place political views. RTO has totally uprooted my life from cost of childcare, time wasted on commute, routine, and even my work itself. Talk about being more efficient... — read more
Honestly, is it even worth staying?
I know it's exactly what these knuckle-heads want from us, but I just can't tell if this RTO B.S. will come back around or not. I don't make nearly enough to be spending extra money on gas just to sit in virtual meetings! I know many of ya'll are in... — read more

So, let me see if I get this right
We can't do our jobs from home, but our jobs can be outsourced to a completely different country on another continent. So they can do the same jobs we supposedly can't do from home, from India or wherever else? Make it make sense, please.
How was office attendance today?
Work for a satellite office, don’t see much of a difference. Are they just tracking badge swipes at worst? I highly doubt this is enforceable across a 50k employee base
Please stay home
Went in-office for work today, and thankfully no one showed up so I can conduct my virtual meetings in peace. Happy Mental Health Awareness month!!!
This won't work on me
If they want me gone, they’re going to have to pay me for it. I’m not playing along with this RTO-driven attrition strategy. Hopefully people see it for what it is and don’t just hand them what they want.
They're not gonna like what's about to happen
Working from home gave us flexibility that so many of us repaid by being available at all times. That's about to be gone. No more working after hours, no more responding to late mails, no more giving extra. If we’re back in the office, we’re working... — read more

All Hands 4/22
