The region jobs do not exist any more. It was a wonderful time to work for Allstate. A team environment. You went to work every morning knowing you were working toward something. If you had the right leadership. We did. We drove growth for the company. Those who were part of that time appreciate the experience. So, there was a time that working for Allstate was something to be proud of and fun. It did happen. New times now. It still can be rewarding. Carry on.

Had Home Office front row seat for 33 of 4 decade plus career. Agree that nepotism was rampant and led to extremely unearned elevations (not promotions) of deeply flawed unskilled talent. I could write a best seller with names and make $$$. Embarrassing actions.
I will say both in the region and now Allstate has always fostered a culture of relationships over merit for career growth. The HR person retained in TM has fooled the hire ups into thinking she adds value. Behaviors are driven from the top down, TW has fostered a culture of cut throat inept “leaders” who lean on the grunts to deliver the results while they take credit. Now we have a CHRO who mentions her former employer during an Allconnect call, of course it was edited out on the recording to make her look better.
Always delivered and rated exceeds. Understood some of us would be let go after COVID. and the company changed. A lot of changes. Sad. But understood. You let a lot of really good people go. So we move on. It was such a good company to work for. But you kept some really questionable talent. In HR. You will have to figure out who that now VP person is. A networker do nothing. Just works it. If she’s delivering results now, great. She never did before.
Best post ever. And people worked so hard to deliver results. A truly focused effort to deliver.
Sad. Truly. I loved every part of it. There was a sales driven culture. A goal for the corp. And if you had a leadership team (I won’t say but if you think you will know). to drive you to be the best, you did.
Wow. True. No one has spoken out about that truth.
I was a part of that and it was spectacular. i actually looked forward to going to work every day. Sad, the spiral downward is speeding up.
You are correct. However that was long ago and far away……. Never to return.
Many may not recall but in heyday, there were 28 regional offices. Four in Ca. Three in NY. Two each in Tx and Fla. Good times.
