I just finished a great meeting with the very successful Intel CEO, Lip-Bu Tan.

I just finished a great meeting with the very successful Intel CEO, Lip-Bu Tan. Intel just launched the first SUB 2 NANOMETER CPU PROCESSOR designed, built, and packaged right here in the U.S.A. The United States Government is proud to be a Shareholder of Intel, and has already made, through its U.S.A. ownership position, Tens of Billions of Dollars for the American People — IN JUST FOUR MONTHS. We made a GREAT Deal, and so did Intel. Our Country is determined to bring leading edge Chip Manufacturing back to America, and that is exactly what is happening!!!

Don’t Trump know the defense companies work for stockholders not the nation ?

Trump signs order to block defense companies, like Boeing from buying back stock until arms production improves.
The Trump administration has criticized the defense industry for what it describes as high costs and slow production.
For Boeing production never will improve

Dear XOM MC, you’re next!

See notice to the Defense Contractors below, next will be oil companies who do not invest in Venezuela! Thank you for your attention in this matter XOM Management Committee!

Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

All United State Defense Contractors, and the Defense Industry as a whole, BEWARE:
While we make the best Military Equipment in the World (No other Country is even close!), Defense Contractors are currently issuing massive Dividends to their Shareholders and massive Stock Buybacks, at the expense and detriment of investing in Plants and Equipment. This situation will no longer be allowed or tolerated!

Also, Executive Pay Packages in the Defense Industry are exorbitant and unjustifiable given how slowly these Companies are delivering vital Equipment to our Military, and our Allies. Salaries, Stock Options, and every other form of Compensation are far too high for these Executives. Defense Companies are not producing our Great Military Equipment rapidly enough and, once produced, not maintaining it properly or quickly. From this moment forward, these Executives must build NEW and MODERN Production Plants, both for delivering and maintaining this important Equipment, and for building the latest Models of future Military Equipment. Until they do so, no Executive should be allowed to make in excess of $5 Million Dollars which, as high as it sounds, is a mere fraction of what they are making now. Additionally, the maintenance and repair of Equipment, once sold, is far too slow, and must be immediately enhanced. As President, I am demanding that maintenance be “spot on, on time.”

Therefore, I will not permit Dividends or Stock Buybacks for Defense Companies until such time as these problems are rectified — Likewise, for Salaries and Executive Compensation. MILITARY EQUIPMENT IS NOT BEING MADE FAST ENOUGH! It must be built now with the Dividends, Stock Buybacks, and Over Compensation of Executives, rather than borrowing from Financial Institutions, or getting the money from your Government. Longer term, this is good for both Executives and Shareholders, because it will be GREAT for our Country! Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

DONALD J. TRUMP
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Oi

Politics rule this company. It would be established if they didn’t stop changing technology every 3 months… about the amount of time it takes for a senior leader to be let go or forced into retirement, and bringing in someone new who wants a notch on their belt for implementation.

Let’s also start where they positioned to sell to Cigna and took themselves out of regular insurance without signing contracts. Cigna backed out, most likely pointing and laughing and the stupidity. The email sent by sad-sack senior leadership was confusing, poorly written, and verified there was something fishy going on. If you’re going to lie, Humana, lie better.

Humana: when it takes a year or more to resolve IT issues but 3 months to restructure and change technologies.

Republicans are gearing up to go after health insurance companies

It looks like the Republicans have found there talking point to go after the ACA. They are blaming health insurance providers for the high cost of healthcare and pointing to the profits they've made since Obamacare started. 2026 is going to be a tough year for this industry.

Foundry has potentially landed a guppy.

We won't know if the guppy will lay eggs and populate the tank until 2027.

There is a chance the guppy will bring in its bigger brother, the whale.

Even if it works out, let's see if the higher US production costs scare away the whale.

Don't sc--w it up!

Or is this just a political donation?

Where's Pontiac GPS at on this one?

Shouldn't their super sophisticated automated tests have caught this? I guess they're too busy playing politics to preserve their easy jobs of maintenance and support. There's a lot of money behind this failure.

LCS needs a purge

It was a farce from the beginning. The organization selected incompetent and unqualified individuals to LCS. Instead of choosing the right people based on skills, selection was based on politics…you help me and I help you. It’s an organization full of backstabbers/ credit stealers who are adept at managing up but achieved little on their own. What’s worst is the nonsense they spout inside and outside the company. A layoff there is needed.

US Appeals Harvard Court Victory on $2 Billion Funding Freeze

The Trump administration appealed a judge’s ruling that it illegally froze more than $2 billion in research funding to punish Harvard University for refusing to comply with a host of demands from the federal government.

US lawyers filed a notice of appeal on Thursday, more than three months after US District Judge Allison Burroughs ruled that the Trump administration had violated Harvard’s free-speech and due-process rights.

You are not really free

All of the boomers on here will tell you that you are fortunate and should be grateful for the opportunity you have to work for a company, blah...blah. The reality is that none of us matter to any company, and none of us have ever mattered. The entire system is built to keep us indebted to, and dependent on, corporations. I consider myself politically very conservative, and I am not afraid to admit this. America was sold out long ago. We haven't had a true free market economy for at least 50 years or more. Everything that is done now is done to enrich corporations and political leaders. Banks and financial companies are some of the worst exploiters of the American people in existence. As long as we are indebted just to live, we can't ever be truly free.

Hiding behind h1bs in tech organisation

The technology departments at Fiserv are a total mess. They are packed with Indian folks grabbing all the high-level spots like CIOs/SVPs, and then those guys keep hiring more “H1B” visa holders from India for their teams instead of Americans. They are bending or breaking immigration rules to hang onto their preferred H1Bs for leadership jobs that any American could easily do. This goes against everything Trump’s pushing to make America great again. They will also file a green card for each of them and will keep requesting for extensions, misusing the h1b clause. USCIS should soon audit Fiserv workforce to make sure it is not letting the core payments processor of America misuse any laws.

2026 - End the Healthcare Chaos—End the healthcare Corruption

In 2025, America’s healthcare system is collapsing by design. There is no universal coverage, ACA tax credits have vanished for millions, and costs remain opaque and predatory. One illness can still mean debt or bankruptcy. This is not care—it’s organized insecurity.

Tying healthcare to employment has made everything worse. Jobs are no longer stable, yet coverage depends on them. Americans stay trapped in bad work or delay care out of fear. Meanwhile, college-educated workers in technology and healthcare are pushed aside as employers lean on H-1B visas and rush AI deployment to cut wages and labor costs. Workers lose jobs—and with them, their healthcare—while executives call it “efficiency.”

The deeper problem is political capture. Politicians have embedded themselves in healthcare policy while being financed by insurers, pharmaceutical companies, and hospital lobbies. Legalized bribery masquerading as campaign finance has turned public policy into a profit shield. As long as money writes the rules, reform will fail.

The solution is clear: delink healthcare from employment, make coverage universal and portable, and get politicians—and their donors—out of our healthcare decisions. End the corruption, end the chaos, and put people before profit.

Why you need H1b any more for an Infra company?

Oracle has declared itself as infra company. I see large number of people are just copy pasting from llm’s. Do we still need this special talents for copy pasting from llm’s ? Rather save local job market.
I don’t blame h1b candidates but the job market has shifted and there is no special need for you anymore. We locals have to survive and not in the cost of paying less for you and your management playing politics.

Politics over performance

Why is it that at Nike, career progress seems to depend more on playing office politics than actual work? I've noticed that merit has very little influence, while understanding how to navigate relationships and kiss the right butts is critical for anyone looking to move up. How can that be considered a good thing?

Miami Value IT

Although it’s not fully cleaned up yet, it’s good to see a much-needed trim of the older friends and family brought in from the ‘fuel’ era. Hopefully the next rounds address the rest of the dead weight who managed to stay by simply playing politics. Keep up the great work, Mr. New CEO.

No meritocracy at BNY

BNY has never been about performance, it’s always been who you know. I left years ago because I got tired of the dead-end grind and the constant politics. The culture is still toxic and unprofessional, and anyone still there should take a step back and see what they’re really part of.

Wondering if thelayoff.com receives money for removing content Schwab might find offensive.

Charles Schwab and his wife Helen attended the White House Dinner - the special guest was Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.

Questions regarding the appropriateness of Charles R. Schwab - who continues to represent and lead the company in his capacity of Co-Director of the Charles Schwab Corporation - attending this particular event are legitimate and not inflammatory.

So the question is why thelayoff.com removed the earlier postings regarding this topic.
