Infosys is the absolute worst. None of the promises have come to be. They have no idea of what they are doing unless the goal is to destroy the business by running off customers due to their terrible performance. They are extremely difficult to... — read more

How much more do you think the company will shut down with GTP coming online?
So are we just pretending the cuts are done???? End of May???? June???
Hearing from a few people that another round may hit by EOM ( May) or sometime in June... word going arund is bottom 10% and retirements could be part of it. Sounds like calibration season all over again. Business transformation was supposedly the... — read more
HR Internal Investigation
What’s the latest on the HR internal investigation? The company took an incredible turn in 2015 when they hired the most inept HR people period... B as a lead on investigations was a sham an tons of hairbrained outcomes.
Which part of the business will be impacted?
Anyone has more info?
They finally announced the shutdown of MESH in Borger.
Here we go. How does this affect the plant as a whole?
More to come
i am 100% sure they want to phase out the rest of IT. i dont have insider info, it's just logical based on everything they've done so far... those folks are basically making themselves redundant at this point. i am also sure that finance, project... — read more
One More Wave?
Thoughts? One more Wave? Two? All done. Almost all folks in my circle think it's at least one.
Severance
Documents coming last minute is ridiculous. We've had the draft since November so any challenges should have already been made. Stretching out payment is disrespectful but I guess respect went out the window when they told us we were surplus. We... — read more
They are looking at you
Once certian projects are finished they will lay off the rest of that department and let L T I take over. Congrulations on working yourself out of a job. HR will mostly be replaced by a computer. Get used to talking to a machine. Middle management... — read more
future waves are not planned at this time
From the emails and town halls, they are outsourcing some departments in two waves. We are near the end of wave two. We all received the email that future waves are not planned at this time. But with AI, tension internationally, cheaper... — read more
Layoff March 2026
Well is it time for the Layoff round 3 to happen?
You are a number, remember that. They don't care. They never did.

Package...please?
To the HR and/or legal representatives assigned to monitor this thread...maybe float the idea of an early retirement package option. For example, offer 5 years of age and tenure in exchange for early retirement. I wager you'd get a few takers and... — read more

Infosys is a joke
These fools know nothing. It is shameful.

Thoughts about Port Arthur's decision to shut this unit down? What happens to those operating this unit?
the 1st wave and the 2nd wave
Can someone please break it down for me the main differences between the 1st wave and the 2nd wave? It sounds like the 2nd wave has a longer transition period until April 1st while the 1st wave only had 30 days? Just trying to be mentally prepared... — read more
Who exactly do they think is going to keep this place running?
They’ve been he-l-bent on cutting people and gutting the teams that actually know what they’re doing and get things done.
Is a transfer possible?
I am trying to transfer to our Department of Golf Tournaments & HQ Celebrations. That seems to be the only growing area in the company and the work looks interesting if not outright fun. I think I've outgrown my current engineering role and I'd even... — read more

11/7 Layoffs
How are we feeling about the latest round of layoffs? Did you lose anyone valuable on your teams? Do we truly believe this is the last round?
Terrible Leadership
CP Chem is going down a dark path. Terrible elementary level intelligence from leadership.
Do the right thing, before you end up on the street with the people you just laid off.
It’s time for our illustrious CEO, Ste Ve Pru Sak, to actually lead. He’s losing his biggest asset – the people who keep this place running – and he doesn’t even see it. When you lose the experience and talent that make your company function, you’re... — read more

Question About Next Layoff
Anyone know when the next round of layoffs will be and what dept they are going to target next?
This deserved it's own thread
Not my post, source below: I don’t understand how so many people are surprised by their methods. Threatening by caring isn’t new! It’s exactly how they have always operated. HR has some major skeletons in the closet. Imagine if someone did look at... — read more
I'm not worried about layoffs
Being laid off would save me from doing three jobs for the pay of one while some of the people I work with spend their days kissing up to management and not giving a damn. Why should I fear losing a job like that?
How much does your experience depend on the manager?
I’ve switched teams a few times, and only one of them was great. The manager there was a decent guy, rare in this place. He listened to feedback, got to know the team, and played to our strengths. We outperformed, and for once, I actually enjoyed... — read more
No help from HR
Reported favoritism, harassment, retaliation and hostile work environment to site HR with zero results. New plant manager seems pretty amazing, grounded and approachable. Is it naive to believe he would be helpful if I opened up to him?

Are the parents okay with this?
Are the layoffs enough to satisfy Chevron and Phillips 66 or will they demand a change in leadership? The desperation in the office is palpable.
